Default 415rwhp at 18psi on a 2.5L is possible......

I just got back from the Dynojet yesterday, and here are the numbers on my freshly rebuilt 2.5L (101mm pistons). Everything else, other then the VITESSE chips, is exactly the same , as when I baught the car from Tony G.

All I can say, is that Vitesse chips increased the power down low and made more power and torque then I expexted, at a relativly low boost

My first run was done at 14psi, 94 octane street gas, fuel quality switch at #7, and I got 360rwhp . When I dumped some 110octane race gas, with the same settings, I got 365rwhp.

My last 3 runs were made with 110octane ,@15psi, 17psi and 18psi(MBC) respectivly, with the fuel quality switch at #3 (race setting by Vitesse, which adds timming), I got 380rwhp@ 15psi, 401rwhp @17psi and 415rwhp @ 18psi.

I 'm quite happy with the numbers, but I will probably do few changes in the coming months, to increase my torque, so that it's closer to the HP numbers.

Thanks to John at Vitesse who made these numbers possible, while maintaining my egts below 1550, and to Tony G who didn't BS about the performance of his old car.

Here are the charts

Tony raves about the K27. Is that the turbo you are running?

It's a 60-1hifi Mike. K27 cannot sustain
those nos.

Great numbers, congratulations MySwiss!! Email me the dyno runs in soft format, I think there is room for improvement.. The head, Cam, Exhaust are working nicely together..

Hey MySwiss,
Nice numbers. Have you gone for a smaller
A/R turbine housing ? I remembered Tony
talking about 400 rwhp at 1 bar, Hmmmm.

But look at where the NEW hp and torque cross! That thing pulls all the way to redline! WOW!

I cant wait to get mine back on the dyno! I think the 60-1HIFI is a somewhat misunderstood turbo.

For all the info about the car, it's still posted on[post] tonygarcia.org[/post]

As for the chart, that Tony posted, that run was done with the exact same turbine housing (0.58 a/r).

The Vitesse chips, really did the trick....they lowered my egt's and gave me more HP's at a lower boost.
