It's not tuned yet. I've just got the Wolf-3D running sequential injection and am in the process of going sequential ignition / coil-on-plug. Unfortunately my widefire went again in cylinder No.4 yesterday so Dave Lindsey's sending me a Cometic.
It is performing significantly better now with the cam sensor fitted. Proper tuning should start in the next few weeks.
No regrets about the 75 here.
If you want fast spool, go for the 61. If you want to go more extreme, try the 75.

The good news is that Majestic didn't rebuild it this time. They sent it off to Turbonetics. It got a brand new Turbonetics center section and new seals again. It also comes with a new 6 month waranty from Majestic. It got whatever the new thing is with Turbonetics and they sell this turbo for $1200. I'll be asking $800 for it. Let me know if you are interested.

for whats it worth, I've got the super 61 turbo on my car and the spool up is very fast also, my car produces 421.9 bhp which to my knowledge, is still the highest dyno readout of any 944 turbo so far dyno verified in the UK the car was built by andrew sweetenham of promaxmotorsport.com and tuned by wayne schofield of chipwizards.com

My Super61 holds 21 psi all the way to red line. At 16 psi it made 350rwhp, at 18, 375, at 21, 401 on pump gas. The power peak is deceiving. It's not where the peak happens, bigger turbos are going to peak higher at higher rpm. For me it's about comparing the the lower end of the curve as it is building power before it reaches peak. Besides, with my tires and the cold weather 350 rwhp is too much.

BTW Rick, your web site is just AWESOME. Thanks.
Time to rethink turbo options for the rebuild perhaps.
