I'm doing an engine now for a FedEx pilot friend of mine and we were discussing turbos yesterday. He had almost decided to swap the sport turbo in the 340 kit for the Super 61, which after this imformation here, should confirm that choice. This should allow him plenty of hp potential - now the only question for him is water cooled or just oil.

Yep Ski, it's sounding more and more like the 61 is the way to go. I'm shooting for 350hp and it sounds like this turbo will do it with ease.

BTW Rick, your web site is just AWESOME. Thanks.
Time to rethink turbo options for the rebuild perhaps.
ehall, thats with only 18psi of boost and it produces 421.9 bhp....I could crank it up but it's good enough for me

"Unfortunately my widefire went again in cylinder No.4"

Tuning issue??

"No regrets about the 75 here."

When are you seeing full boost?

How much boost are you planning on running?

I have no regrets, if when I get it fine tuned, the boost is on a bit sooner.

As in all actuallyity, it appears that ther eis only about 300rpm difference from 61 to the 65 to the 75.

Although that means 900rpm difference from 61 to 75...

So how do we get more revs from our motor????? A 7K redline would be nice.

Wow, I was wondering how long it would take you to come on to say that. You didn't really believe me did you?

When it comes to evaluating other vendors products, out of respect, I always stay out of the conversation. However, when VR is directly involved, I try to keep the record straight.

No problem John. What are the prices of your various turbos? I can't find them on your site.

Check the website in a few days. Many new things will be taking place! I don't want to hijack this thread.
