I really hope Cometic use the "new" style for all gaskets. The old one has really badly placed water holes. I don't think cylinder #4 will get much cooling with that design. Even if you open up the passages at the back like in the stock gasket it still has to big holes beween cylinder #2 and #3 and between #3 and #4. I would not use a gasket like that, we have problems with #4 even with stock coolant flow.
The newer one looks much better.

Latest update!

The engine block, N/A cylinder head and stock IC is now in place at Skunk in Norway.

The head will be very special....
we're talking enormous valves with hollow shafts, special arrangement regarding springs etc.etc.
The valve, spring, lifter etc combo will be 50 grams lighter than stock for each valve

The revlimit will be set at 7500 rpm.

Happy new year!

I knew I was crappy at speaking Swedish... it's 80 grams lighter, not 50. That's the lifter in itself.

I though Noreweigan is Swedish, you just add "Akkurat"

Ok. even we Finns are able to understand Norweigan. Danish is the different story....

Very cool Duke. I've always been a fan of your cars. I'm perticularly interested to see the block reinforcements and the headwork. The 7500rpm redline sounds nice, what turbo are you using? Alot of what you're doing reminds me of what I'm going through right now, good luck and have fun!

I have an unlimited budget and I intend to break it.. ...well...I haven't cooked up a price for the head yet. I'm working on getting quotes for bulk prices for the components that go in there now.
