"I agree tuning is key, however if the parts you are using (turbo for us) is not up to the task (not designed properly), tuning or not you will get substandard results.."

Of course the sooner I blow this one up, the sooner Chris and John can fix me up a new one to destroy! lol I'm still waiting for the professionally diagnosed doom that is supposed to come to my engine from the thrust bearing play. What a genius that ...ahem... guy, was! Nothing worse than a mech trying to create business that way.

Ooh the dreams of big bore mid sleeved, Vitesse blown engine.
scuse me...I need a cloth...

Hey Tool thanks!!

But it's the truth. HEAT is the basis for all blown headgaskets/motors. Yea, could have been knock, but it is the heat that caused the knock and/or precombustion.

Tool, since you are a big shot at Vitesse now, maybe you can talk to John and use my car as a test mule for 450cc injectors for MAF chips

Guys, let me clarify something here.. Jim, Special Tool is a customer and over the past year we became friends. However, he is not working for nor does he represent Vitesse. We value his opinion as well as each one of you...

Todd, 450cc are not a big issue. I think the 55# flow better and it is why I recommended them. I can customize the software for your application, it's a matter of time and $..

It's all in the tuning.
thankyou.

Hi my name is john I run 20psi daily...never had one motor failure been doing it for over 2 years now.

Guess its not boost that kills motors....its tuning...opps....was I supposed to say that

Glad someone mentioned WI.

I KNOW Mr. Corkey Bell is awesome. Except for the fact that he does not seem to appreciate the power of water injection and the cooling affects of super fine water mist

We all, outside of cars, can joke about the "Military" but I think we all know when it comes down to it the military is decades ahead of the private sector, they are just good at playing dumb. Put that into the mix that the Army Air Core was using water injection over 50 years ago!!!!!!! to aid in the performance of thier supercharged planes....think about it

Hey, I resemble that remark! Well, substitute "K27/8" for "Vitesse" blown, but still close. I have a feeling the extra .2L is going to help make that K27/8 spool pretty friggin well.

Let me give this a shot...Looks like a top ten.
2.5 litre; Mustang Dyno; Bob Patterson, Los Alamos, NM
458 RWHP @6250 rpm; 461.7 Torque @ 4750 rpm (21 psi boost)
(at 1.1 bar, the base run, a modest 398.1 HP @ 6500 rpm; 371.8 torque @ 4750

What do you thinik? Photo of dyno run attached (and the car, if it'll take two images).

OK - I'm guessing the prior photo didn't upload, so saved the chart as a jpeg and am trying again. Thanks for your patience...
