Is your S finished? I thought it was just the head gasket?

Re the belts from what I know the tension should be checked even thought there is a tensioner. Most people say 4 - 5 years for the belts regardless of mileage.

What have I done to the wifes Cab this week.......

Repaired central locking system that would not set.
Installed snaps on floor mats so they will not slide forward and ball up on the pedal assembly.
Replaced torn speakers (Optional 8 speaker stereo system).

Oh, and of course gave it the weekly wash and shine. All honey do's to make the wife feel better. Then I took my Turbo out for a run to make me feel better.

Well now I feel a bit better about the price he was selling for. Bummer though as it would have been cool.

There is a perfect guards red early NA for sale near my house. No idea what he is asking but I can ask if you want. Look fantastic on the outside.

Getting close to 100K miles on my cab that I have had for 2.5 years now. Over the last 2 weeks, chain tensioner pads replaced (you should see the originals...simply beautiful...to be sitting on my desk next to me! Emergency brake hardware completely replaced...PO didn't put the springs in correct and rear wheel started to squeal like death itself.

I added a KTP-445 to my Alpine deck tonight...haven't even driven it to see if it picks up any bass.

Struts are next...and to try to figure out the shudder at 52 MPH that has been there for 2 years....

Nice how about a picture or 2

I am at 98k myself and have had it for 2.5 years. Got it at 91k.

I have a 10" active Bazooka tube in the trunk and gives a decent amount of Bass and was simple and cheap.

I did the struts on mine last year. I did the hacksaw Koni inserts on a used pair of 951 stock struts and put on 200# Weltmeister springs. What a difference over the 20 year old stock stuff. While I was at it did all the bushings and 968 caster blocks. Was not really a hard job to DYI.

It's great to know that the already great handling can be improved so much with just readily available parts and a hacksaw from home depot.

I suspect this is the next bit of work to be done on my car. (Except I am hearing a moan from the rear recently...which I suspect is the fuel pump)

Don't think you can post pictures directly from an Iphone. I think you have to upload the pictures to a computer and then post from computer at least that is what I have done.
