1990 Linen S4 on BAT just sold for $42,928. Congrats to Texas993! My 1989 Linen/navy car has a few more miles, but extremely well sorted. Here she is again....
I also endorse this seller. I used to own this car a few years ago; so I can tell you that it had great bones when it went to Paul back then. He took this car to the next level and beyond. I particularly remember talking with him through some of his victories on this car; and he always took time to discuss the issues I was having with some of my other cars at the time. I am always impressed by his depth of knowledge and his meticulous attention to mechanical detail. Now that I think of it; this is the second 928 that I sold to Merchauser! LOL. Crazy days.
That is a great car and GLWS! The next owner will be happy with that car.

^^^Thank you for the kind words, Marc. Your ownership certainly provided the platform for this wonderful car; twice you gave me incredible opportunities, exciting challenges and ultimately, great fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey with both cars, and am getting ready to do it again. Miss Linen was a well maintained car prior to both of our ownerships. and that made such a huge difference in performing services. Car was always garage kept, and it shows.
I had a few PMs regarding the intake: At the moment, there are no intake issues whatsoever and therefore, I have left the intake alone. Bosch hammer testing shows every component is functioning properly, so I decided not to take apart solely for cosmetic reasons. New owner can choose color, finish, etc for personalized look. If someone prefers, I would be willing to perform a full intake refresh along with proper finish. (its just not "needed" at this time)
[QUOTE=Rob Edwards;18016574]'94 Iris Blue 5-speed GTS up on PCarMarket, will be interested to see how it does vs. RKD in OKC's car on BAT back in 8/20:
The 1994 GTS on Pcar was first registered in 1997 with 250 or so miles on it. I know overall GTS production numbers were extremely low in comparison to earlier years but generally speaking about GTSs, what do you think is the reason that this final, stellar version of the 928 could sit unsold for years? Was the car, in its day, considered too expensive or long in the tooth?
Richards car was absolutely gorgeous when he bought it from Willhoit... I had a deal with him before he passed and was leaving to go get it. Suddenly he refused to take a cashiers check at the last minute. Then I learned of a questionable rebuild and let the deal go. But Richards car was beautiful with no sun damage or rub strips! One of the "got away" cars that like Pearlglanz, haunt me...
Cars from the Felicity Ace are being auctioned off on Bring a Trawler.
I really like the "Carbon Fibers" option on most of the cars offered on the site...
Just before she sank....
LOL
I am helping a friend import a 91 964 turbo and it missed the dip by one day. We were pissed it didn't make it but now glad it didn't.
My son works for a local Porsche dealership and was supposed to deliver Matt Farah's 718 spyder to him personally but that didn't happen and another 16 cars they lost all on their shoulders and dealing with the shipping company.

I wanted to buy Worf's Iris blue years ago. It never happened.
The last of the 964's and 928's were tough sells. These cars were expensive for the day and sat for years without being sold. There was a 95 GTS at Herman and Miller Porsche for at least 2 years before it sold and a 1992 964 America roadster at another that sat for 4 years in the showroom till someone purchased it. Amazing how what nobody wanted years ago now everyone covits.

The Iris GTS on PCAR is ‘curious.’
It seems to be a heretofore unknown Iris 94 5-speed. Last time I checked there were three in the registry. Mine, RDKs, and a “blank” one. There were persistent rumors that there was one Iris 5-speed that was a body-damage salvage title. Pictures have even been posted in the distant past of what appears to be a front-end smashed Iris 928. Since that description - body-damage salvage title - applies to neither ours nor RDK’s (former) Iris 5-speeds, I always assumed that it was the “blank” Iris 928.
The PCAR Iris 5-speed looks like it’s been repainted?
Bidders should do their homework.

Sold for $64K. By definition, it's the market price....
Had lots of needs. Seller claimed as a “one owner” when in fact he was the second owner for 3 years. What part of the definition of one owner doesn’t he understand? Geez!
