928s for Sale

1988 S4 5sp Laguna Green
My only negative comment about the car is that the color does not look green. So, if you are looking for a "green" car, look further.
Otherwise, USD 69.000 does not seem exorbitant for the overall color combination and condition. Very elegant looking car!!!
You may want to slightly re-calibrate your valuo-meter, Mike. I am thinking 60's and even 70's is possible here.
As to the value, just trying to get a set of sport seats "like those" seems to be a USD 5.000 operation with a high likelihood of disappointment.

He keeps lowering the price. I think originally it might have been $35K.

Since I have direct knowledge of Lagoon Green with my GTS, yes it is really a shade of blue but it flip flops in light and your distance away from it. Farther away it is a "green" looking color. The big IF is the mileage. No way $69K for that question. If it sells for that my GTS was a steal 20 months ago. Interesting debate.
Now I will pick it: No Jump post cover, hood liner a mess, carpet not cleanest, spoiler hanging down (probably missing belly pan), scratch on front bumper, clock looks dead, frayed steering wheel thread, tires are aged.

Bump,
Bryan,
Your car looks nice to me (with the exception of the black wheels, my taste is silver). I am surprised that it is not getting bid on and headed down the road.
Have you considered BAT? Good luck with the sale and I'm hoping that the next owner enjoy's the car.

Thank you! For me it was the only wheel color! Lol. Everyone is different.
It's just timing when you find the car with all the details you want lining up like a bingo win. I looked for almost a year to find this one. I have tried to put a few on BAT. They seem to be looking for an interesting story understandably. I'll give it a shot again, you never know.
I feel that this thread is a bit of an influence on the market value of our cars. Thanks for your positive comments.

Beautiful. Let me know when the car’s ready. I’ll get my funds in order! Been waiting for another worthy Weissach since I sold mine 3 years ago. You’re a savior!

Is that the one you bought from Carl Legulia that I checked the belt on before you drove it back to Texas?

Surely someone is interested in a needs-nothing Auto GTS with a 2016 engine-out Greg Brown firewall-forward restoration? Oil drain holes in the piston skirts. Black Sea Super Clamp. Even has a jump post cover. Two days to go.
It's like a ghost town on PCARMarket. At least go over there and be rude to me so that I'm not bored

PCARMarket seems to not have much activity. A lot of cars don't seem to sell

pcarmarket is too restricted to Porsche’s only. No crossover collector that may be interested in other brands and just happened to see a Porsche that they like.
Dave, maybe you can tell me the reserve so that I see if I can increase my budget! 🤣

Nice car. Since you are bored I'll pick a nit over here so as not to cast a shadow over an otherwise near perfect presentation on the PCAR ad page. The automatic shifter boot has sagged down exposing the shifter handle attach screws. Also there appears to be a vertical crack(?) at the base of the handle. My boot sags as well, due to the rubber sphincter loosing it tautness.
And yes, while PCARMarket doesn't have the traffic of BaT they do have other benefits over BaT.
