I'm back to being stuck on the Euro car..I can get it for about $20k
I really like it, but am being told by my local porsche mechanic that I should go with the 32v motor as the 16v engines are slow (in his opinion). Admittedly, hes never driven a Euro Spec 4.7L engine but did admit that the car looks pretty unique.
Would any one mind whos driven the 4.7L Euro motor mind chiming in with their thoughts...
TIA

I don't know that I agree. If I were buying a supercar like that why would I pay $3 - $4 million bidder premium to one of the big auction houses when I can pay BAT $5k? A billionaire sends his guy (Wayne Carini) to check it out and confirm there are no surprises and it's no different from being an Internet or phone bidder at a Goodings auction.

That may be true until you 'Porkenize' the 86 32V motor. I've just finished mine and it's much quicker than the Euro manual I had. I'm actually going to get some video of it on a run. The thing hauls ***.

I don't know his RL name, but he was quite helpful to me, which I thought I would mention here. I noticed that one of the BaT pictures shows the Reno radio instructions, which I am missing. Not being able to figure out how the adjust F/R fade on mine, I contacted the seller via BaT and asked if he knew how - he emailed me a picture of the instructions, which helped me figure it out. Very appreciated - sound system is much better now!

DeWolf, did you use both of the chips? Did you do anything else (exhaust, etc.)?
I am looking forward to doing this.
