This one is beautiful. Not quite as nice as Kermit but I really dig the all-green interior. Reminds me of Andrew's #1 car but without the Pasha. And at $62K, while a big ask, with only 51K miles and being a 5-speed, this may seem like a bargain in the near future.
Love love LOVE that color, both exterior & interior! I'm a pasha fan, but that green leather interior absolutely works for me!
And while I'd love for the prices like that to be common, I'm not as optimistic that they will in the NEAR future. That's a very clean car & will certainly bring a good price, but I think they're stretching here. However, with my luck, prices will skyrocket tomorrow on every color but mocha. lol!

This early 928 is not off-base at all for the European market. American market isn't there yet but will be eventually. Hopefully before all the good ones go overseas. Notice this is a US market 928 for sale in France.
probably the correct year, plenty of pre-S 928 has aftermarket add ons.
however, sounds like water pump is leaking and those pics are more than 2 years old.
Is that Canadian dollars?
If it’s legit it will be gone in a day or two. Ontario plate is visible so likely legit, scam ads almost always have no plates. And the poster has been on Kijiji for 9 years. Old photos likely cause it’s been sitting un-used, winters are long in Ottawa so it’s easy to miss a couple seasons.

Looks like it's priced right for entry level (enthusiast or pro). I see an early 928 in need of lots of love (enthusiast or pro).
PS. I've seen 928s that have sat for 2 years. A lot can happen in that time. Due diligence required.
Agreed Jim. Adam, Stan, looking at those (now old) pictures shows a car with many needs. Not much left stock on the interior either, and the dash, front seats, pod etc all look pretty bad. The car looks to be a paint job car, so no idea of the quality. And I frankly do not believe the mileage. Thus, $8K for it might even be aggressive, all things considered. Would love to see it fetch that price though.

It has a valid tag until Dec 2019, so it's being driven which is a good sign. Vin: 9288100672
8k cdn is just over 6k usd, so if the paint is good I say it's worth it. As far as interior goes it looks better than most I have seen up here, minus the hack job on the rear seats.
I'm only selling due to life circumstances - was planning to keep this car for a while, but that's not what's going to happen. I'm happy to answer questions here, but would prefer to discuss more in the listing comments so Q's and A's are all in one place. But please feel free to ask here, PM me, or on the listing page. I'll do my best to answer everything.
Tells you how much the seller/auctioneer confidence have on the car. Engine shot only shows the front 3rd. Condition of the manifold?
Would love to see the VIN so one can check if the root wood handle is original or aftermarket.
Love the no rub strip look.

1978 Porsche 928 S "Euro Version" 5-speed manual. Imported in 1978 directly from Germany to New York by Paul Kardon. It is road ready with a new starter, clutch, exhaust and battery. This first year model runs good and is truly a gem for the serious Porsche enthusiast. For a short while in history, the Porsche 928 was the fastest street-legal production car sold in America at 146 MPH. The 928 has the distinction of being Porsche's first mass-produced V8 model, and it's only coupe powered by a front-mounted V8 engine.
The condition is a little rough, but it purrs like a kitten and needs a lot of TLC to take it up to a $40-$60,000 value of a fully restored classic. $7,500 OBO
