Rare 1978 Porsche 928 S - $7500 (Stevens Point)
...
1978 Porsche 928 S "Euro Version" 5-speed manual ... This first year model runs good and ...
... given how far into the ground it has sunk hasn’t moved in many years.
Also, since this 928 has been ‘stored’ on open ground (and not in a desert) for these many years, everything that could corrode has corroded on both the inside and outside. And, I’m sure that there are many nooks on the inside that have served as rodent AirBnBs.
I’d bet that this 928 is 99% junk and that not even the big metal bits are worth saving

Love the added bonus of Missing Title!
If it purrs like a kitten why has it been sitting in the same spot???
Some of them need to be scrapped so they do not infect the healthy cars!
This one will be interesting. It has many needs. Dash and pod cap, aftermarket added rubies (which may be a blessing). I'll bet the electrics are a mess, with the alarm and who knows what else. An electric fan. Normally, a $5 to $8K car. Anybody want to take a guess where it'll end?
Looks to still have the aluminum ball joints, and one “new” improperly installed rack boot.
Also, note the a/c custom mount and the belt doesn’t appear to align perfectly, but that might be the pix.
Is the Montana registration hiding a salvage title?
The car doesn’t appear to have any owners from there.

With photos... What's up with those intakes tubes? Are those from an S model?
I did some digging. The car was orginally leased from downtown fine cars in Toronto in 92, then in 96 it was leased from a company in Ottawa, on 98/04/01 it went back to down town fine cars, and on the same day it was flipped to VH auto leasing in Montreal. 3 months later it was flipped to 2756-2487 quebec Inc (operating as JYC Auto Ottawa). Googling that quebec numbered company comes up with the following address: 519 Boulevard des Laurentides, Laval, QC, and if you google that, it is a used car dealer. The system here in Ontario says that the car is currently unplated in quebec and registered to 2756-2487 quebec Inc. I wonder if the data is incomplete or if the seller is actually a dealer? Who knows.
GT6, lots of GTSs are running with S4 tubes. I'm not sure what the price differential was but it was revealed that the soft tubes really didn't perform any better than the S4 tubes. I think they may not have been available for some period, but now they are.
