Not an '86 Euro. Very misleading ad. US S3 engine. Trashed looking. Asking $5500 for beaten up car.
Definetly trashed up but it is a Euro. It has the ROW 32V motor that is rare to find in an ROW but has the same lower HP as the US version. The front fenders have been replaced with US fenders so one would want to look at it closely to make sure it hasn’t had frame damage from the collision that caused the replacement.

Unless someone went through the trouble of removing/filling in the rear side marker lights and adding a rear fog light it most definitely started as a ROW car. Front fenders could have been replaced to appease local DOT for side marker requirements. The VIN supplied in the ad is a legit ROW VIN and has some US records on file. Trashed...yes. Correct engine...who knows.
That red Euro has U.S. front fenders & mismatched paint. If you look at it, better look closely.
Wonder if it's an '86.5

Also, if an 86 Euro, it would have the S4 goodies, like the US 86.5.
Hi Mark
Trouble is, this one has no paper work, so I think it could not ship via normal means. Container might work. I need parts from it, so I might just ransack it for parts, but seems a shame.
Never knew there was such a thing as a "low horsepower" ROW 32V motor, since the S4 have the same motors domestic or ROW. This car has the same pipe organ intake as any 85-86 US 32V motor. It may be Canadian or US with rear bumper replaced, but the engine is definitely not an 86 euro engine, which is the most important aspect of the S2.
