The car has a passenger side mirror fitted, was this standard for a 1981 model year car?

It is black metallic with black full leather - Weird Science!

To be fair, the old dataset that we're working from has limited information about the '78-80 cars (in terms of engine code, colors and interior codes) but the options list is usually complete.

RE: the mirror, for 1980 it was still an option. For US market cars 1523 of 1631 cars list the passenger mirror as an option, in the ROW market (including your car) it was 659 of 2753, so considerably less common in those markets. That said, in your case either that mirror was added later ( I doubt it), the person who transcribed the build sheet into the database missed the option, or the workers just had a passenger door with the holes for mirror mounting and stuck it on your car before paint.
