Ok, here is what I can tell:
Indischrot car with a leatherette black interior, seats in leather with multicolor Black on Black cloth seats and door inserts.

Equipment:
XX8: GTS rear fenders
I331: Radio Porsche CR-1
I498: Without rear model designation
I570: Rear AC
M650: Sunroof

And this car was delivered to Porsche AG.

Does your friend have the warranty booklet, or any trace of the original registration?
Any picture of the interior, also?

This may be the first US GTS, by far.
It was also maybe used for official pictures, or booklets.

What is the first registration date?

Well, WP0ZZZ92ZNS820061 is unknown into the Porsche information system but WP0AA2922NS820061 is not and it matches with your friend's car!
Please send me a PM, so we can compare the details of the car

And there is no 0062, 0063, etc...

Is it me, or this car has no side repetitors on its front wings?

Could-you, please, ask your friend to search for traces of an old roll-cage?
I suppose that this car is in Austria, but if this is the case, do you know when it was imported?

Hi, new Swiss car I just purchased. Can you please help with options, as well as explain what is a "low compression engine"? Is it less powerful? Thanks

No options indicated, except it's a Swiss car

Last owner had it for 22 years...

177000km

if side repetitors are the small flash lights that are signs for US-market cars - no, only on the rear fenders

I will ask him about signs of a roll-cage

no, my friend is from Germany, so the car is over there - and he bought it in / from Germany (I'm from Austria)

he just told me, that there are no visible signs - but he didn't dismount interior-parts yet, to find out if there is something behind

Sorry for the wait.

So, your car is a Swiss delivered automatic 1985 928 S(2).
M28/22 engine (310hp) with A28/06 gearbox.
Equipment:
M220: 40% Locking differential
I415: Widening of the gauge on the track on the rear axle
I454: Automatic speed control
I525: Alarm with continuous sound
I593: Antilock brake system
M650: Sunroof
I686: Cassette-radio Blaupunkt Hamburg SQM 24

No mention of a low-compression engine so you have a full 310hp

Nice looking and clean car.
