This subject is always tricky. Depending of market, year and model, the stripes were an option or not, or the option was to delete them!
Same for the rear model designation.

I asked and both cars have 09981 and 09991 Z-orders. This means that they were diverted to Porsche Exclusive at some point, before delivery.
But the XC1 is not listed. It's really difficult to understand things linked to Porsche Exclusive!
It seems that the XC1 code was used only at the end of the 1989 MY, or maybe was it only not registered into the PET before?

For some reason I have the note 'Competition group option' in my notes for this VIN. So yes, it does have option M471.
If you get a chance to look at the transmission serial number, please report back whether it's a G28.03 or a G28.05.
