Isn't the dipstick tube ABOVE the oil level, especially when the motor is running at high RPM and oil is packing in the heads. How does oil shoot out the dipstick tube under those conditions?

I was a little bit full on the oil. That was my first though too is "how the hell did that happen" so after it sat over night I took a look and yea, a bit over filled. Besides, when that is the only place the pressure can vent from, it's going to have oil going with it too. That crank can toss some oil around.

This line will need to come off and get plugged if you haven't already done so. It will pressurize the crank case. I am using this line to feed my boost guage inside the car.
Edit: If you want to keep this line to help seal the rings during cruise and idle, then you can probably get one of Herman's check valves and finaggle a way to put it in-line with this hose.

Bill, There is a electronically controlled valve on the end of that tube. Signal comes for the LH to control that valve, and how it opens and shuts? I was told that it opens under idle and closes when your the car comes off idle. Can anyone confirm that???

I removed that vent from the intake and plugged the intake port. I left the valve active and ran a hose off it and let it vent to the atmosphere under the car away from the engine bay. Has worked fine for 2 years on my car, no gas smell in garage, no pressure/vacuum in the tank ever.

That guys diaphragm valve by the charcoal canister must have been bad. It should only be open when there is vacuum applied to it, and their is no vacuum to it when the throttle is open and especially when boosting

Just confirmed on my car.... no air can can pass through the Diaphragm under pressure only under vacuum. But I would still like to know exactly when the solenoid valve opens and closes.

Kramer, nice solution to simplify the tank ventilation, for those of us that aren't tied up with emissions BS. A sort of road draft tube for the gas tank LOL.
With regards to my crankcase ventilation post; wouldn't using vacuum to vent the crankcase be the simplest/easiest solution if you position the port that will be a vacuum source at a place high up, as well as use a filter/separator for the suspended oil that is in the vapor.
You would still need to find a way to ventilate the heads though right?
I know i usually look like a totally dumb idiot on here... but i like to learn.
