Bernouilli's don't work so good when it is 6psi inside and atmospheric outside...

Sean, I've got some LC-1 plug-in kits made up, do you still want one?

Cheers,

Cheers,
Yes Jim, still needing one. Roger has the WB02 in stock so I just need the LC-1. Also, do you have any 87-88 ST cords in stock, need one if you do. Just let me know where to send the munee.

Yep. Have a Provent on the way and various parts to make something up.

Default Crankcase pressure

Sean,

This line will need to come off and get plugged if you haven't already done so. It will pressurize the crank case. I am using this line to feed my boost guage inside the car.

Edit: If you want to keep this line to help seal the rings during cruise and idle, then you can probably get one of Herman's check valves and finaggle a way to put it in-line with this hose.

Couldn't you use the air pump as a vacuum pump for vapor scavenging? Isn't that the most prime solution for the 928 ventilation (or lack of) system? Wouldn't you have to tie in a catch can/separator between the ventilation lines and pump?

Sean
Mike is correct, that needs to be plugged. I believe we plugged this when we were doing the install, but check it to make sure we didn't forget it.

I pulled and plugged the rear valve cover breather hose this morning before going on a nice 50 mile drive and have nothing in the catch can. I'll plug that one to for giggles later........after it cools down, like around midnight.

Victor, I missed a call last night, was it about this stuff?

ETA:Just plugged that one up, will see how it goes. Thanks guys.

17,
The factory airpump will quickly fail with oil entering it.
It is designed for fresh air only.
You really need a proper vacuum pump like one from GZMotorsports.

There are several way around that and are currently running as prototypes around here. Sadly, I have the PK tensioner with out air pump bracket so I will end up going with a unit like you are talking about.

I'll take them, won't be able to get to it until next week though.

Thanks.
