Your Next Car After the 928?

R8 V10.
Good exclusivity, stellar performance, no issue as a DD and you can take trips to Mammoth in the snow!
FWIW, drove the SLS and R8 V10 spider back to back (same owner) and while performance #'s are nearly equal, they are completely different experiences. SLS beautifully brutal, from looks to exhaust note; R8 electric smooth with supercar looks.
Owner statement, "The SLS is a "mood" car when you're looking to flaunt it, while the R8 is a "looker" like a Lamborghini. Having driven both from SF to SD, the SLS is too abrupt in ride and sound for long distances, while the R8 is smooth as silk."
Oh and I asked about the GT Maserati, to which he commented that beyond looks it's kind of a mess, with "really good" attributes, but nothing that stands out as great and sub-par performance for the $$...to which he purchased the Murcielago SV sitting next to it.

That is why you have to get them used! Kind of like 928's...bad depreciation means great fun and value for the 2nd or 3rd owner!!!

When I can no longer drive the '94 928, due to age (which adds one digit every year), general deterioration, or a sudden impairment (stroke, etc.), my vehicle of choice will probably be one of the motorized scooters that are frequently advertised on TV, and that Medicare apparently is a partner in purchasing! Assuming my health stays good until I'm ~90 (2027), there will be other cars in the family, but I currently believe the GTS will always maintain it's position as "my favorite". It's ONLY 17! I think I might have gotten better at things after 17. I adopted it from the first family when it was only 11 1/2 so why should it be sent out for adoption when it's just moving toward "prime time"?????
Should Randy be banned????? - Ha.

The Buick is a beauty alright.
I don't pay any attention at all to new cars anymore, so I'm not sure who's copying whom, but if I were Jag I'd be asking who in the design studio is leaking CAD files to Buick:

And the bumper cover, and the mirrors, and the B-pillar, and the window trims, yadda yadda yadda.
Obviously all manufacturers are constrained by CAFE regs, aero and packaging constraints, and making sure that pedestrians are ok when you run them over with your Buick. But all the constraints make for boring new cars. Which is why I don't pay any attention to them.
On topic: My next DD will likely be something I can drive to the hospital solo in the HOV lane. Natural gas Civic, perhaps?

FIFY, sort of. Both look like badge and trim engineering exercise riffs on the same vanilla sedan chassis. Yawn.
