All the vacuum hoses were unhooked from when I bought my 928. I found a diagram and a few pics and hooked them all up. Center vent works and I had to leave for a party on a boat. I feel goodddddd...

Disconnected the flex plate and confirmed the noise the car is making is TT and possibly TC bearings. Checked the crankshaft end-play, and it's at 0.22 mm
. Started TT removal process so TT and TC bearings can be replaced (removed exhaust from muffler up to cats). Got rid of this little stowaway gift from a previous owner.

Repaired driver window motor again-Dremel wire brush vs copper motor pieces. Now it works again albeit slowly going up + relubed moving parts. Also had to resolder motor connection. Fixed power mirror too. Door panel strip down time is like 10 mins now that I know where everything is!

Yesterday, Mark & Jesse from Glacier Window Tinting in Arlington, TX applied Wincos 30 Automotive Film to my 928. I chose Wincos (Window Cosmetics) for three reasons: the IR Rejection is 92%, UV Rejection is 99% and Solar Energy Absorption or Heat Rejection is 73%. All five windows are the same shade. I was looking for an elegant window tint that keeps out the Texas heat while maintaining the premium look of a 928. The result is my interior is much cooler and I'm not driving around with blacked out windows.

Got parts from Roger Thursday, and had already taken console, etc all out of car last Tuesday night. Eight o'clock this morning started to take Actuators apart. Had a difficult time getting the Combo rod back on the pin so drilled a hole per Dwayne's write up and popped right in (Thanks!).
Changed out the footwell diaphram, even though it held vacuum but had gotten two diaphrams so decided while I was in there. Then tested everything before putting anything back, and all worked well. Then put all back together. Fixed passenger side window switch per Tony's write up ( thanks!) and rewired the suction fan that pulls in air to inside temp sensor, wires had been cut?? PO??
All buttoned up by Three this afternoon, not too bad of a job.
Started up and temp in garage was 78 degrees and after about 3-4 minutes it was 58 in the car. Ready for vacation and trip up to Owls Head Museum Sunday for car/airplane show. 100 miles to my place in Scarborough, Maine and then another 100 miles to Owls Head...what better way then to start a vacation..
