Took it out for a little drive. Michelin all seasons are FINALLY broken in..no more weird wiggles now its driving the way it should...one handed on the freeway. Fresh from getting 2 cans of Seafoam and 2 bottles of Ventil Sauber....both for the first time. I am regular user of Techron but got notceable improvements from both products..the biggest difference was from the valve cleaner...got snappier on throttle tip-in...sounds a little
angrier...partial throttle dips on freeway get me past other cars a lot faster.
Very nice work...... Let us know how you did it, so that we can learn each other all the tips and trix about these clocks!
Thank you. I can't take the credit for the tips and tricks. That can be found here.
There are some that painted the front of the hands, however I did the "painting from behind" technique so as not to lose the factory illumination. I used Testors fluorescent orange.

Reason: spelling
Fresh oil change. Now onto replacing a few worn-out parts: alternator hose, rear inner fender shield, sway bar bushings, and a few other odds and ends.
It has been a while since I posted but I did a full fluid flush on my 93.
I am considering doing the timing belt next but it has so few miles on it since last done and has been stored in a climate controlled garage. I repalced the water pump, belt etc 8 years ago but everything looks like new. She runs great so I will drive for a while. The last belt I repalced was after 10 years and was like new when removed with 20k miles on it.
I still hate the PSD bleed. It is in a stupid location and a lot of expensive NLA parts hanging out over your left rear.
BTW I have been invited to bring my 928 to the Bridge event in the Hampton's this year. I brought my 94 turbo last year and hope to get some great photos this year. 🤞 the weather will be as nice.
What a stupid place for such an important system.
. These use the same pumps the 964 uses for the AWD and or electro hydraulic brake system. I am surprised they didn't use the system for the brakes as well and kept it self contained. The brakes are the same as my turbo and the turbo pedal feel and braking IMO is superior because of the Pump vs vacuum assist brakes.

Drained all old fuel out of the tank and repalced fuel filter
bled PSD system
bled brakes
Changed engine oil and filter
Change trans fluid
Flushed Power steering fluid
She runs well and all she needs are new shoes the ones i have are aging out and getting hard.
I had been running PS2's which I used to consider the best until they came out with the newer tires. Unfortunately the MPS4s's don't come in the sizes I need and the conti extreme DW rears are back ordered. Everything else is too noisy. I think I will wait for the DW's to come in as I can still drive on these if I am careful. My right side wheel liner is starting to go but the left side is fine surprisingly. Heading to order a new one and a new seat switch for the passenger side. Otherwise I am set for this season. 🤞
My turbo with natural lighting using an old Iphone. The backdrop is just hard to beat. Will be nice to see the 928 get some love.
Why are what should be the simplest of tasks such PITA's??? Got my ABS hot lead cover...I must have taken the connection apart and back together again and I'm still not happy with the fit. Nothing at all wrong with the part...part is perfect (and thank you Roger!)...it just didn't want to go in as easy as it was supposed to! lol
New sunroof seal. Cleaning all tracks, guides and moving components left to do...
New vs old one.
So how difficult was this too do? I have done 964's and it was easy but I have heard the 928 not so much. I have the parts all I need is direction. Any threads you can point me too.
I did have my A/C evacuated and fresh R134a installed I had to turn the A/C down on a 100 degree day it was blowing so cold.
It took me a bit of time to remove the pannel but removing the old seal and installing the new one was the easiest part!
Now I need to clean everything and put everything back together.

A million thanks. I have had the parts for 10 years and have been putting this off. I had repalced the one on my 964 which is a bit less involved and the seal as you say is the easy part.
This simplifies things and from what I see the three screws only need to be loosened and not removed.
Putting in new radiator...it's in...using soap on the end tanks and guides to make double sure there was least risk of any damage to fins...I won't post a pic of the CSF that came out...
Happy Happy Joy Joy....lots of mini rest breaks....set of electric fans in their own enclosure goes on the back side and that was it's own fun job... Will hopefully in an hour or so doing a test fire-up. I have a gallon of half and half mixed Pentosin NF with distilled...I am figuring most of it will go directly into the rad....
