Yes, Alan, and all, I have quite a bit of update on these WW Liners. However, I did not get as much done with them over the Thanksgiving weekend as I had planned on mainly because a very close friend and client passed away two days before and she had named me as her PR, so I was fairly well distracted with that. Still am to some extent.
I did spend last weekend entirely on these Liners, however. What I am doing with them right now is working up the procedure to be able to form each of the mounting brackets in a repeatable manner so that I don't have to put each one of them in my car to see if it works or fits. I am about 2/3 of the way complete with that.
ThenI have written up some extensive installation instructions for these Liners, and will need to take some pictures to illustrate them with. When I have the brackets finalized I plan to then take the first set of complete liners and put them in my own GTS4 pretty much in the way of the first field test, just to see how it goes with brackets that have not been put in the car before. That's where I'll take the pictures as I go.
Then, I'll complete the other four field test kits and ship them. Probably pretty soon.
I have the sound material pattern also pretty well complete except for some final adjustment which will take place as I glue the first set up. I'll have some trimming to do with those and then I can transfer the trimmings to the aluminum pattern and use that to adjust the pattern. Then I can cut up the first batch of that material which already is cut into pieces ready for the final pattern trim.
I also bought two more rolls of the sound material so I will have a little available for the first several sets in production. The material comes in 20 foot rolls 54 inches wide and I can get 7 or 8 sets out of one roll. They shipped two rolls that came last week, so I hope that will take us through the end of the year. They have a couple hundred rolls in stock, so getting some more does not appear to be a problem, and they ship in about 4 to 5 days.
So, there you have it. I think I will be starting a new thread about these in production, probably just before Xmas, assuming there are not significant issues found in the field testing befoe then.

Thanks Gary. I don't think it is going to interfere with this project from this point except for probably one full weekend which I expect will be taken up cleaning out her house. I probably wont get to that for another month or two, however. Even then I may be able to do that in a few shorter sessions, so I hope there wont be a noticable delay in the liner Production which I hope to be doing very shortly.

I just finished replacing the pump to chassis fuel line behind the pass side liner, so now I'm even more ready for a set of these. I had to fiberglass it just to keep it from breaking into 3-4 pieces.
I'm planning to attend the PCA Parade this summer. What are the odds that these will be on the street by this June?
Thanks again for all the effort.

George, for your 91 GT everything about the GTS liners will work with it except for the outer half of the liners themselves. I have only a little bit of work to do on the form elements for the early fender shape, so when I do that I can fairly easily be providing 91 S4 and GT liner kits. As to the GTS, I am teaching myself now how to make small batches of the brackets so that I will be able to provide about 6 sets of these liners each week until the initial demand has been fulfilled. Again, all those brackets will be the same for the 91 and later GT cars.
As soon as it warms up enough for me to put the first field test set into my GTS4 I am going to be able to send the other 4 sets of field test sets out and then I am going to post a new thread to start a list of those GTS guys who are interested in these.
My wife is dragging my cold *** to Florida later this month for a few days, but I plan to have the four field test sets shipped before we leave and then when we get back I think I am going to begin shipping GTS sets.

Thanks, Joe, for staying in touch. Two weekends ago my wife took me to Florida; last weekend was used up with some serious plumbing issues; and this weekend we have to go out of town for a funeral. And then it has been just cold around here. Next weekend I hope it is warmer and that I can finish up the first field installation in my own GTS4 where I can take the pictures needed to go with the installation instructions and then I'll be posting about availability in a New Thread.

Hi Jerry,
I look forward to your thread everytime it pops.
My condolences to the lost of your dear friend.
Looking forward to pair of liners for a 93 GTS. It is my hope it quite downs the cabin to enjoy the ride winging having to turn up the volume to neutralize the road noise.
Kudos for never giving up, despite the daily obstacle that come your way like plumbing, your glutes taken to FL. :0)
