Mike, ya need to bring it by next week. Starting the RMT install on an '86.5 on Monday, could use your input.

Tom,
It will be really hard knowing that the capability is out there to really open the GTS to new horizons and not just going ahead and doing it.
I've got a lot of things to do yet before I'm ready to make that next step, but Mike's car certainly opened my eyes to that possibility.

Mike, I think I glanced over at you as that sport bike went by and you had that look in your eye like I had better hang on. I thought "oh $hit, here we go." I was hanging on and bracing for the launch when you said "next time." I have never been so surprised. I could tell that it took a lot of restraint to lay off because I was fully expecting $hit to hit the fan. Next time.

That would be a good shake down run up to your house. Just let me know when.

Mike, was the kits PCV normally plumbed to the smog filter?

I like how you made them opposing so the little filters look look symmetrical - very cool.

No the kit had the hoses running differently. All I had to buy was the little filters and one "T" fitting from home depot. Everything else was in the kit. Also, I have had no oil blow out of the little filters just yet.

I appreciate the kind words. I thought that it looked cool too, and is functional. I will probably have to pull the little filters off and stuff the hoses underneath the manifold to pass inspection though.

Mike, Ali would like your old X-pipe if you haven't sold it to Curry yet.

I forgot to mention that the rubber bottom portion of the filters needs to be "drilled out" because the hole is to small to fit on the plastic elbows. I used a unibit and just slowly drilled out the rubber so that they would fit.

Hey Mike...not sure if you have a co-pilot, but I highly recommend it while S-tuning, even in auto-tune when you're trying to get specific pixels tuned. Speaking from experience.

Congrats again and enjoy

Hey Darien, been tuning solo these days. But I'm sure I could get some help if I just asked. I have been tuning basic stuff by myself, but will probably get a co-pilot for the WOT stuff, if they dare LOL.

Here's the next phase. This is not included in the base kit, but is available as an option (I don't know what brand is used in the kit). I picked this Tial unit up for about $230.00 from the place that I dynoed my car at. I was getting some compressor surge when lifting under boost so I wanted to go ahead and install a BOV. Especially since I plan on going up with the boost eventually.

That is because the air on the long run does not have any where to go . You need to gt that fixed ASAP before you destroy the comprssor . I would not up the boost till you get this problem under control

At 5 psi, I don't think it will wreck the compressor, but I agree it is a good idea.

Your setup is looking sweet!
