At the very least I want to help get that car back together, if that is feasible. I can be down there and lend a hand almost any time. Also, there should be something we can organize at Sharktoberfest. Perhaps dedicate it or part of it to Rob and do a fundraiser/auction/collection. Obviously, this would be Mark Anderson's call.

I should have met Rob at one of the Sharktoberfests, but I think not, for some reason. However, I knew of him and his car, recall many posts from him in the past, and I heard descriptions of hair-raising rides in his car from Brian (IcemanG17). This is very, very sad. There but for good fortune go you or I.

Blessed is the true and just Lord. May Rob's memory be for a blessing always and may his family find comfort during and after this most difficult time.

So sorry to hear this...sincere condolences to his family.

I always enjoyed his posts and his passion for his 928 which was evident by his website.

This is a serious loss to the 928 community and especially for Robs family.....our prayers are with his family!!!

Maybe we can start a rennlist donation to help out robs family.....maybe through paypal? I'd send some $$$ right now!!!

I had the pleasure to meet rob in dec 06?? at Doc Browns shop.....Doc had just finished version 2.0 of Robs stroker and Rob was nice enough to take me for a ride.............WHAT A RIDE IT WAS....we are talking hard core Bill Ball style with reckless abandon!!!! I'd be lying if I said it didn't scare me a bit....but it did scare rob a bit too!!!

What a great loss to the 928 community.
I was one of the many that would see Rob out at Sharktoberfest. He was always energetically enthusiastic about 928's and his car in particular. I seem to recall that his 928 was usually one of the first to get the latest mods.
Prayers and condolences.
