OMG that looks fantastic, great job! I saw a new Camaro in that color the other day, really jumps out at you. Yours will be a real head turner.

Great job! The orangepeel looks very sandable. But that can be done at a later date... get the Goblin back together and go terrorize Metropolis!

Do you have phonedials for this car? What color are ya gonna paint them?
Personally I was thinking it would look really nice with the 'Twist' wheels that were on it as these would suit the more modern colour better than the ageing look of a set of Teledials, just my 2c.

Charles, after what you & I have seen here in Richmond, my guess is you'd take the liftbars in ANY color.

Re cleared the whole car today with another 4 coats after sanding a lot off with the runs first time through. I waited 20 to 30 min between clear coats thius time and it did much better. NOT ONE RUN!!!!

Walk away from it for a few days or a week while it dries.

That's very impressive!

One question: When you spray over the panel gaps (e.g. between door and rear quarter), the paint does not go in there evenly; rather, it would leave some sort of rough surface texture. How would you make this even - is there enough clear coat to just sand and polish it?

I opened the doors and sprayed the jambs as I went so there in no overspray and no tape lines this time....I will add pics of that tomorrow. The front fenders I left unbolted and moved them forward to paint that gap as I went as well. The hatch is still off so the gap there is painted without overspray. Not sure how others do that but this seems to work for me. The bumpers will be painted later as well.
