I never met Scott, but know him only from the 928 mailing-list/forum. He's a nice and friendly guy. I would like to share my condolences to his family and friends....
We will miss him.

I am truly speechless....
To one of the few with integrity and just plain genuine in nature. One would be fortunate to have known him on any level.
I will miss him. Bless you Scott.

UN-REAL!! I bought my 5 speed conversion parts from him and traveled to his place to pick them up. Very interesting man and a lot of interesting cars at his place. Very knowledgeable about the 928 and always very helpful.
Any more details on the accident? With his experience in driving high performance cars this should not have happened.
Our condolences to his friends and family.

I just read with shock about Scott. I talked to him two or three weeks ago when I needed a part and he told me he was selling his cars. He invited me up and I'm sorry I didn't go. I will miss him. I bought one of his cars and he was great to work with. How sad....

Absolutely shocking and sad. He was one of the permanent parts of the 928 community, and it will be different without him.
Very sad.
I first met him at mile marker 1 of BRP in '04. Him and Kempf left us way behind on a rainy wet morning as they hauled *** down BRP. They waited for us slowpokes. He was a hot $hit and quite a character. And a truly nice guy.

I am in shock also. What a shame for the loss of a young (well - at least to me!!), dynamic, interesting, intelligent man. All who met him and spent some time with him have rightfully indicated the loss we all feel. I believe his parents still live in Hawaii (big island). My sincerest condolences, and regret for their and "our" loss.

I'm in shock.
I bought my 928 from Scott 2 years ago. He was the most stand up guy I've
ever delt with. He did a TON of extra work on the car before I picked it up.
He's going to be missed.

Very sad...
I didn't know Scott, but I gave my wife and kids a big hug shortly after reading this. Life is both short and fragile, and we never know when it is going to be the last day....
Sincere condolences to his family.
