What terrible news. Could anyone and everyone that has pictures of Scott please post them here as a memorial? I am sure i have met Scott, but I always have a hard time connecting names and faces.

Scott was a kind friend and very helpful to all who knew him. The last time I talked to him in person was in hershey 2007. Very enthusiastic and willing to do anything for a 928 friend. This is a damned shame, he will be missed by this 928'er. Peace to you Scott in your new journey.

I never meet or knew of him until early week. StreetJustice928 was selling parts(spring/struts) sold to him by Scott Mohr and I called 928 Motorsport to get spring rates thinking they sold him.

Sorry to hear of his death, condolences to his family and freinds

Sadly, I didn't even get a chance to become acquainted with him. My deepest condolances to his family and all who knew him.

Kind regards,
Erling

Ben,

Go to the 928OC site, look at the Event pics from ALL of the Frenzy and SITM events. Look for the guy that is literally in almost every picture, and always smilling...that's Scott.

This is tough to do for me, but here is a classic Scott "pose"(on the right) from Frenzy 9... it does bring me (and I hope others) a little smile on a very sad day.

Dave

Default RIP, Scott

I reacted to this news with the same shock and sadness that everyone has expressed. Condolences to Scott's family and many friends.

I was able to help Scott with an infamous auto purchase transaction awhile back. We'd conversed quite a bit via phone and e-mail. And when he came out to visit and pick up the car, we had a great time with both gearhead and healthcare discussion.

As many of you have already related, Scott was a great guy to be around and will be missed by many for all the right reasons. Here's to Scott

All the best...

Very sorry to hear this.

As others have already mentioned, Scott really was a good guy. At any of the events I saw him at, he always seemed eager to help others when he could .

This is VERY sad news. I had emailed him a few weeks ago to see if things were alright when he started selling a bunch of his cars. Told me that time will tell.

This really really sucks........

Digging through my archives:

Graham and Scott. Those who are on the email list would probably know that Graham was
rear ended by a Ford Transit van that totalled his GT while in Denmark. Graham's OK but we nearly lost another 928 guy.

Scott, Eifert and Graham.

Scott and Graham. (And no they are NOT a couple.)

SITM 10 standing with DR and Tom Falkenburg

Scott and the guys. (SITM 10)

Scott and the guys scheming.

After a tough afternoon of trashing the roads around North Carolinian mountains.

Gotta go eat something. I'm still numb. I have one of Scott and his cabriolet at SITM.
Just have to find it.

Default A FRIEND, A CHIROPRACTOR. . .

From (ahem) a Pelican thread re: Ebay listings, allegedly by Scott:

"Due to a dramatic and sudden paradigm shift in life I must sell off my collection of cars, 30 Porsches and 10’s of other marquees.
And they are all going way below their respective street values."

PELICAN LINK

I wondered when I read that a while back what could have possibly been going on in his life to cause this sell-off??

Thankful to have met him at St. Pete & again at SITM.
My thoughts and condolences to his close family and friends during this very difficult time.

He will, indeed, be missed...
Kim
