Nothing changes for me.

I'm a hick, so the music choice is simple.

Now you say, whats a hick doing with a Porsche? The answer is simple, my pick up doesn't go fast enough. I needed more power, more speed, and at this point in my life, I'm got no use for 4WD. That plus the Porsche's wounderful lines, makes the choice a no brainer.

Boy, life is easy!

Wow!
Max just lent me his Julio Iglesias collection so I loaded the CD changer and went for mad midnight dash. That guy really rocks!
I certainly put the old Shark to bed hot tonight.

Cool

-Disturbed, Nickelback, Econoline Crush [especially their first album!], Eiffel 65, Falco, Korn...and as of late Adema.

Ahh...I am getting old. Occasionally I even throw something mellow like Duran Duran or wild like [egads!] Misfits in the thrash box!

-But there is ONE particular song that fits this car more than any other in my opinion: "Dude Looks Like a Lady" by Aerosmith.

Abby's right, check out Black Label Society! Cello-metal of Apocalyptica and Rasputina also great. Metal and techo were made for driving.
Got shelves of moody stuff like Bauhaus, but its lousy to drive to. In my Porsche, the term "This Corrosion" just brings up bad memories of a fluid leak and clutch master cylinder.

The wonders that song can do! Caravaning w/ a friend, both us playing the same radio station, KSJO. We arrive at the destination, and I get the complaint that I sped up too much when "Rock You Like a Hurricane" came on. Hadn't even realized I was doing it !

Dude's I'm into it!

-They closed the Goth bar here in Orlando [Club Z] a year or two ago, but I'm still into Forest of Shadows, etc.

Rob Zombie is kewl too...that song "Rock Star" is on the CD that I burned called "Lapine's POWER" that lurks [generally...considering how I drive!] under the passenger side seat. That is my resident 928 CD...for when "taco bob" and the other idiots at the local station in Orlando play crap.

-My brother worked for Trent Reznor in NOLA about the time I bought my shark. I met him one day...Chris took me for a tour of NOTHING records, and Trent showed up...or should I say kind of materialized behind us. I wound up talking Porsche to him because he had a silver 993. Strange that he would be so informal, as he has a reputation for spookiness. Trent can be a really friendly guy at times- trust me.

Back on the music front...I've degenerated into Techno as of late, courtesy of various dance clubs, Ibiza, etc.

Oh well, really....as one person said..the best soundtrack is actually the Borla pipes on the back end of my car~

I actually forgot to post myself. Haha.
Anyway, I actually support my local music scene and listen to a lot of stuff I probably wouldn't otherwise, but this has turned me on to a couple tunes I find perfect. One is "The Conductor" by the Faint (you may have heard of them) and the other is "Justice Served" by The Carsinogents (you haven't heard of them...yet). If Miami Vice was made today, these would be on its soundtrack. 'Course, a little country like Neko Case or Ryan Adams doesn't hurt once in a while, and *****-out rock like The Dirtbombs can brighten up your day real quick.

I'm more of a trance and hard house fan. DJ Jean - The Launch (ATB remix) is a good adrenaline pumper if you're planning on breaking a couple of Camaros...

Usually if it's rock in the car its Saliva, Offspring, Nickelback, Rob Zombie, Red Hot Chili Peppers....there's too many to list and too little time before i get back to class <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

A good recommendation for you Normy would be the Spyhunter Theme from Saliva. That song kicks some big ***

Donald, I’m glade you’re enjoying them so much. My wife found them in a local garage sale, bought them and then latter decided she didn’t like them as much as she thought. I am glad they have found a good home, if they would have stayed around here, they would have only ended up as drink coasters out in the garage.
