Nicole might know this one.
Once it is on the road, there will be a hearty dose of Rammstein and Die Toten Hosen.
A couple minutes of Asche zu Asche or perhaps Heirate mich will get you going. Kinda fitting, being a German car and all.

Hey John, I thought I was the only one still hanging on to my Billy Idol CDs (formerly tapes, before that LPs). That's been great driving music for years.
Of the new music, Tool seems to suit the nature of the car and the right foot best.

Gotta be the ultimate driving song.
I am also a diverse cookie:
Paul Oakenfold
The Crystal Method
Propeller Head
Sasha And Digweed
Methods Of Mayhem
Roxy Music----Avalon (a must)
AC/DC
XTC
The Police
Level 42
Someone posted Econoline Crush?
Awesome band. I worked with them on some shows when I was back in Canada Eh!
I watched them rise from a club band to a recording act. Nice bunch of guys.....

Well since I haven't even driven my car YET, I don't qualify. But if I were imagining that I were driving, it would be a mix of things-
Iggy Pop
Nirvana
Van Halen
Donald Byrd
Miles Davis
Bad Brains
L7
Jurasic Five
Royal Trux
Dvorak
Steve Earle
Junior Brown - Broke down south of Dallas or I'm a Highway Patrol.
It really depends on the mood I'm in.

Bernie thats cool about working with Econoline Crush! I've seen them live twice in Orlando- their shows are awesome!
Linkin Park has got to have the best CD out right now- Meteora. I saw them last year, they were great too.
I want to see T.A.T.U if they ever tour in the United States- I'm steadily wearing out their CD "200 km/h in the wrong lane"!

Wow, this thread got reeaal resurrected.
Nicole, don't feel bad about not watching MTV, you wouldn't see a video on it if you watched it 24/7, that goes the same for VH1 (well, maybe a couple, but only hip hop or someone that sells as many records as Britney). I did see a Coldplay song on there at 4 a.m. once, must have been an aberration.

Hey Normy,
Yea, thats cool!
Actually, a very good friend of mine is the monitor engineer for Linkin Park. He was working for David Lee Roth for years and just hooked up with LP a couple of months ago. I haven't picked up the new album yet but I have the first one - love it......

Cool Bernie...my brother is an audio engineer, and worked for Trent Reznor in New Orleans for a while. I came to visit him once, and he took me on a tour of Trent's studio. Trent has excellent taste in cars- a silver 993 Turbo was parked in the lot. Halfway through the tour, he showed up out of the shadows, and turned out to be a hell of a nice guy- I wound up talking cars to him and got a tour of his car too!
