Hey, Thanks Guys!!!! You have given me a weak excuse ( does it require more?) to put another 60-70 miles on the shark today. I need some new tunes

I've only got two CDs in the car right now, Mettalica "Kill em All", what could be more appropriate than "Seek and Destroy"

Then my "new music" The Vines, sort of a punky British sounding group with a couple of sweet tunes "Oughtta the Way" and "Get Free" both excellent for rushing about.

I've got about a 30 miles drive to a town with a decent selection of CD's. Thinkin about leaving NOW

Theme from "JAWS"!?!?!?

Actually - a mixture of old and new...70's & 80's rock ...Journey, SRV, Bon Jovi, SANTANA! and some newer stuff, too...

Love the 80's big hair band ballads...

XM Channel 150 (Comedy) for when I have the cruise control on...

Cashier at Best Buy looked at me kinda wierd the other day...I was buying 2 cd's...

Best of - Night Ranger
and
Kid Rock - Cocky

Now - THERE'S an unlikely pair of cd's to find in the same bag...or changer!!

Music ?? six months or so ago , at one of the short track events the face plate for the radio in the old very brown 1980 popped up ...Jeff my son in law tossed it under the passenger seat ; one of these days I need to try to find it. Music is rather odd ; Noise /sounds in a random pattern which is repeated over and over....... ?? Music .

Paul Oakenfold - Ready, Set, Go!

When I sit back and listen to this in my study, I feel like I am sitting in my 928 driving 172 MPH on the Bonnerville Salt Flats. It is a breathtaking feeling that you just have to listen to understand:

Enjoy!

I just picked up the new Goldfrapp album; Black Cherry. It's kind of like if Shirley Manson from Garbage was fronting for Depeche Mode. I don't know why, but I must be of that generation that associates Techno to the 928. Old, hard-core Blues seems to go well too, just heard a band tonight called The Black Eyed Snakes (at a concert, not recorded)---great stuff to blare out with the windows down and sunroof open. Of course, I consider myself lucky to be attached to a VERY active music scene, though not quite the "Omaha, the next Seattle" bull**** that most national magazines tend to push.
