Ship him the wheels that won't work with the lug nuts? Wow, tough choice. Where is the "give me my money back" option?

Well, these are custom-made wheels. And, there is a disagreement between the 2 guys as to whether the wheels would work. And most importantly, check above ... this solution is a pretty good one because at this point Chuck has nothing - no money and no wheels. Technically he could end up having to sue, which would cost more than he would win. Truly I have done my best here to get Chuck some value for the money he spent, and if it doesn't work for him he has 2 choices: 1) write off the $1,150 dollars he is out of pocket or 2) sue.

If Chuck took this guy's offer, he would be in the exact position he would have been had he received and accepted the wheels. At that point he could make them work or sell them for value. The seller is taking a hit for shipping.

hmmm Excellent Work Heinrich!! But... I do agree.. where the hell is the offer to refund all of the customers money cause you are too stupid of a wheel manufacturer to know how to make the wheels correctly to fit the car he ordered them for in the first place???!!!!! I guess Chuck taking the wheels & then either selling them to recoop some money or if he can somehow make them work with the lug nuts or whatever crappy unprofessional solution they offered as a band aid fix originally is better than nothing... but thats not a smart way to stay in business long if you need referrals or word of mouth business from satisfied customers! Without the offer to fully refund Chucks money including an apology, I'd NEVER recommend those bozos for custom wheels, in fact, would make sure I steered any & all who'd listen away from them!

H, Thanks. Got a PM from Vince. Been in meetings today and playing golf this afternoon, now headed for dinner. More meetings in the am and then travel. I should get a chance to communicate with Vince tomorrow afternoon or Friday. Vince, if you are reading this, I'll be in touch....

However it goes, having to deal with ANY "business" and go through this nightmare is TOO MUCH work for me. There's enough other wheel manufacturer/sellers out there I'll still avoid iFORGED and I'll tell others to do the same.

As they say...word of mouth...it can work both ways! iforged would have been better off not letting it get to this point. The damage has already been done.

If I am able to come to an amicable resolution I would ask that anyone who posted something anywhere else on the net also post the resolution as I will here. I would also ask that nothing further be said on this subject until Vince and I get a chance to discuss a resolution. As I appreciate everyone's support (I cannot tell you guys how much this has meant to me personally - this has been an extremely stressful and drawn out ordeal. I have spent hours upon hours that I cannot get back....) I would also appreciate we put this issue on hold for a day or so. Since Vince reached out to me in an effort to resolve this issue I wish to pursue our options before any more is said here. Thanks, I know everyone will understand.

Excellent effort on Chucks behalf, but the simple fact remains...

The "custom made" wheels were "custom made" wrong. Chuck is in no way responsible for a damn thing. Don't accept this, Chuck. They in no way deserve to make money for their screw up. And they in NO DAMN WAY deserve to make money off you after the disrespect they have shown you.

You also might look into filing a complaint through the Attorney General's office.

Good luck with it Chuck...I hope they realize that "alienating" an entire group of owner/enthusiasts..in order to make a "let the buyer beware" type point...is the wrong approach, regardless of their legal contract terms... I hope you can get your wheels in a workable, useable fashion,...which is all you were asking for in the first place.

If that happens I'd be surprised if there isn't some kind of effort on their part to really make good on this situation.
I think we have this situation worked out to everyone's (mine and iForged's) satisfaction. I spoke to Vince several times today and traded a couple PM's. Details to follow.....

I'd very much appreciate keeping all comments to a minimum (or none at all) until I am certain this will work out which should be tomorrow or Monday. Thanks and I hope you all understand.
