Chuck -
Here's a link to last year's CitiGroup (CitiBank's parent company) Annual Report. It has a listing of the CEO and all the Board of Directors....

Write the "eat me" letter...crank up the copier....invest a few $ in stamps...have fun!

If you will repost the url for iForged (again?), I will personally promise them that they will never see a penny of any money of anyone who listens to me. Post me the MasterCard url, and I will invite them to go felonize themselves.
If they are selling to you, their market is tiny. We are a big porpotion. And loud.

But it is nice to have influential supporters.. BTW...they already have the money...AND the wheels.. at least thats the way I... "from a layman's perspective" understand it...

chuck... don't forget CA state Attorney General, consumer protection:
http://caag.state.ca.us/
Maybe Governor "Terminator" has got some help for you.
I imagine the USPS Inspector General might take a dim view
of all this, too. But I defer to Silverback.
These yahoos shouldn't be hard to find - they're just south of
the I-5 & 91, a few miles ~west of 928 Int'l.
(Mucho) G'luck.

After reading all the posts again, I'm just as peeved for ya Chucky!! I do agree that suing Iforged would only get you at best a judgement that you'd never collect AND at a cost of enough to buy several sets of Kinesis wheels! Messing with Citi Bank/Master Card will do nothing but aggrevate YOU. They dont care. Pay off your account & change to someone else. I've been down that road twice with big companies. Had a gas card with Amoco/BP for 23 years. Paid it off every month & we're talking about $5-6k a year to them. They screwed up on my account & pissed off both me & my wife. I called, got a kid all of 24 years old on the phone! He was nice & all, but they dont care. When I payed it off & asked them to close the account, I got a "we closed your account" letter, nothing more, not a Thanks for all your years of money or why did you leave or nothing. Unless your letter to the CEO works, dont waste any more of your time with the credit card company or bank other than to get a Visa with someone else.
For Iforged, I thought today the very same thing everyone is saying, have everyone tell your story to as many people as possible! They will never know how much money their tactics of screwing you will end up costing them!! Personal instance. I live here all my life. I've been a real estate appraiser for 23 years here. I bought a $300 palm tree from a palm tree company. It had a year warrantee. It died at six months. They gave me hell about replacing it, tried to charge me another $50 to install another one. The 2nd tree died in six months too! Keep in mind, I have about 10 varieties of palm trees & about 25 trees total, so I know palm trees. They were transplating trees they bought from homeowners, planting on their lot, then reselling them. The trees were going into shock from being transplanted twice in such a short time. I could have taken them to small claims, for less than $100. I chose not too in that case. Instead, I've told any & everyone I meet any time palms come into the conversation of who NOT to buy a palm tree from. They will never know the thousands of dollars their poor customer service will cost them over the years to come. They are stupid, dont realize that I deal with Realtors, Builders, Mortgage people, all types of contractors, homeowners, etc each and every week! All people who deal in and around residential real estate and who these bozos hope to sell their trees too. The network effect of us reaching future potential Iforged customers is much larger than we all realize as you go forward in time.
I also plug businesses that I have a good experience with too by the way. Send lots of business to lots of companies. I agree with the comment made, that its not that someone screws up, we all can do that. Its how they handle the screw up that shows their true worth.
I would also say the Better Buisness Bureau in Anaheim, Ca, is only good if Iforged is a member. Keep in mind the BBB has paying members..... did I say Paying?????? as in you can only complain IF they are a member... and then that is a member that pays money to the BBB, not you! Better people to speak to would be the Consumer Affairs people with their local States Attorneys office in Anaheim instead. Thats a govt entity not a private one like BBB.
Besides here at Rennlist & the 928OC, we are members in PCA, the BMW club & the Mustang club. I love cars & meet tons of people in my work that do too, besides those I meet at car functions. I PROMISE you Chuck, I will tell ANY & EVERYONE who will listen of your woes with Iforged to help cost them more money than 20 sets of their screwed up rims are worth! Multiply that by all of us here doing the same & they would wish they'd sent those corrected wheels to you for FREE! Maybe thats not as gratifying since you dont see that results in your daily life. But as Normy for Iforged & other for CitiBank have already showed us all THAT DOES HAVE AN EFFECT UPON THEIR BUSINESS & they brought it upon themself for their poor customer service! As a small business owner, it pisses me off when the big companies dump on people then take the oh well, we dont care & what are you gonna do about it approach! Wish Sniper's approach was a possibility when they treat someone like that.
GOOD LUCK & keep us posted on what happens. In the mean time, know that your story will be told!

Chuck,
Now that they realise the problem with the wheels, you paid them $650 so they can sell someone else the same wheels or fixed wheels that they reworked. I would e-mail them under a different address and see if they have any sets available for a 928 or boxter on clearance sale.
Although its possible that someone who races and doesn't care about asthetics so much might like these wheels and get them at a reduced price from Iforged.

Chuck,
I just sent this e-mail to Mr. ****,
"Mr. Fong,
Just a line to let you know I've heard of your treatment of Chuck at the 928 Registry. We sell custom wheels & I assure you I've never heard of the kind of customer treatment you are heaping on Chuck. Keeping the wheels & refusing to refund an unsatisfied customers money may be the way you treat your customers but that's a sure way to go out of business. I had never heard of your company before but I guarantee you that if any of my customers asked for your wheels I would refuse to sell them & if they insisted on them I will send them elsewhere. In addition to that I will be posting a placard in our customer lounge detailing the e-mails you sent to Chuck so they can see firsthand how you treat your customers. Keeping his money & the wheels, just INCREDIBLE!
Paul Hamaday"
I anxiously await his response.

OK HOLD UP
I had a conversation with him, and here's what he says he will do. He will call Chuck later today, and he will send him the wheels for the original price minus the deposit they still have, AND he will ship them to Chuck FREE.
Let's not kill this for Chuck at this point. I think that is pretty good. Of course, Chuck is the one who decides.
