I would actually say GLOSS black centers and red calipers would be best...IF the paint job on the car is nice. If the paint job on the car is a bit dull (and it looks REALLY NICE actually, not dull in the least) then semi-gloss black with red calipers.

Yes that's a great pic. I am starting to think that rub strips do look great on a 928.

Carrera III with 11" rears and 295 rubber.
Needed a little roll of the fender to fit.
Need to drop the front a bit after setting everything back to stock height.

265/30-19 and 235/35-19 Hankook Ventus V12, no spacers or lip rolling required. Enough space to get my small finger between the lip and tire.
Previous owner put them on and I love the look and ride but if I had to replace the wheels, I think I'd go with a more common 18".

And for the whiners...YES I have all the originals and they are beautiful!

Thumbs down

I really like the looks of the 996TT Hollow spoke as on Chuck Shreibers car. I believe the fronts are ET 50 which is to low offset and will make the 928 twitchy and unstable. Common "rule" is to not go below ET55 front to avoid tramlining and twitching. Do this rims come in other ET`s or are you "skimming off" about 5 mm on the fronts ? Owners of such wheels, please report ?

you guys are killing me with these sexy wheels!! My 17' cups are just not cutting it anymore. I need some new 18's, but Magnus is correct and it is hard to find front wheels with offset between 55 abd 65

Magnus,
I have the same C lll's that Doug M has above.
I think the offsets are 57 up front and 41 or 51 (can't remember) out back.
I do know that the 10 inch rears are 58 Et's

Magnus, I've had 8" Club Sports ET 60, 7" Manholes ET 65, and now Turbo Twist II ET 50 on the front and can report no difference.

I'm boring and I think the Cup wheels look best on 928. They look original and classy.

These look awesome as well. (Forgot who's car that white GTS is). Amazing choice.

Personally, I don't care for black rims on ANY car. I don't know when that trend started but they make the car look cheap. Maybe that's just me...

I agree completely.

These are nice but I don't care for all the bolt heads around the perimeter. Are they available without them?

Those are Kinesis with the exposed bolts on the 3 piece wheels. Fikse makes a similar wheel but the bolts are on the inside so you don't see them. They are pictured a few posts above.
