That looks like a wheel that was once popular through TireRack, with the centers painted black.

Nice soup. My favorite: white 928 with Carrera Lightweights. Well done.

They look like SSR GT3's... with the center black of course. They are usually seen with the silver center.

Like these (for a BMW): http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E36-18-S...item336f7a682b

They sure look like these wheels---- http://www.vertexauto.com/showitem.a...22%20-%20Black

Too bad they are discontinued.

I found mine on Craigslist. I really like the look. Lots of lip!

Sorry they are not on the car, but will be soon I promise. I got these on ebay and had them re-finished.

In the end with Continental Extreme Contact DW they cost me 2k (CAN). $950 for the tires, $650 for the wheels and $525 to refinish them and metal the caps.

Front 225/45/17 x 8 ET56.7
Rear 255/40/17 x 9 ET47

Original RUF Speedline made in Italy.

I want these on the car so bad I almost have a hard on!

I'm looking into 19s for my son's car (1984 928S, US version). I'm aware of the ride trade-offs, but tire technology has advanced in the 6 years since this thread was started. My question is "will it fit"? The link is to a staggered set of 19x8.5 and 19x10s. 5x130 pattern and the customer service rep stated that several offsets should work.

http://www.usarim.com/porsche-wheels...ms-p-1457.html

I plugged it into the "Wheel Fitment Calculator" spreadsheet and it looks like the rears may not clear (fender roll to fix?).

Have any of you ladies or gents rolled 19s without modifications?

Thanks,
Joe

P.S. I have been in automotive paint engineering for roughly 20+ years, so if anyone has paint questions that you'd like to have professionally answered, please feel free to message me or call me out in a thread.

I have always liked these ever since I first saw them. So I put them in my 1978 928.

Those are only 17s, correct? Those are the same ones that are currently on my son's '84. I was looking at 19s to fill the wheel well. The ones linked are chrome, so they look nice against the black of his body color.
