Finally got the wheels on the black GTS. Also had the windows tinted. Caps are going to a machine shop so I can have a Porsche crest inlaid. Too bad I had so much trouble with the wheels to this point as they really are great looking wheels.....

Very interesting Chuck! Kudos to you for pushing the envelope with one of a kind on the 928 wheels. Looks very nice...I am sure the caps will be the jewel in the center.

CapeCod, lookin good! What year is that euro? I know what you mean about the silence. I've posted lots of times when no one acknowledges my post. It does leave you feeling a little empty but there's been plenty of times I've done the same.

They are 18" iForged Technik wheels. I had lots of problems i.e., lug holes too small (can't use tire wrench, need to use thin walled socket), not deep enough (stock lug nuts stick WAY up past the face of the wheel) and general problems with the company. All has been resolved though after 1 year of battle. Caveat Emptor!
Actually a 95 GTS comes with Cup II's and they are stacked next to the 4 other sets of stock wheels from other vehicles.
I hand made caps for some steel lug nuts, used cold weld to stick them to the nuts, sanded off the excess and painted them with POR 15 satin black. I need to do some finishing work on them yet but they look pretty decent.

It is defiantly nice to read someone acknowledge ones thoughts or opinions when making a post, but I think the real issue here is that the 928 forum is HUGE at about 350 000+ posts (usually only second to the 944 forum), so if we all responded to every post we found interesting we would never have time to work on our cars.
Personally, I like to read the posts from new or rarely seen guys as I am looking to see pics of their cars. This wheel thread has been awesome for that!
