Hey Herman, I just got a set of these for my '95 GTS. Did you have to play with spacers at the back at all or just bolt on and go? How about tires? What did you go with.

i think I got a good deal on them...take offs that are supposed to be perfect and scratch free for $750... I know that front offset is about perfect! I should be able to run 245's at least on that 8" rim. If I run 255's on the rear that should give a REALLY nice balance!

Love to hear more about your experience with them Herman! Thanks buddy! Oh, I got the black intake tubes like yours coming in from Germany too. Not sure when they will get here but I hope soon!

You rarely see those in an offset that works on our cars. What's the front offset on these?

Question Should I paint my wheel centers?

Today my 10 year old said how cool the wheels on my GT would look black with 'red brakes'. It got me thinking, and got me Photoshopping.
I'm kicking around a few ideas:
Matte or gunmetal black centers; or semi-gloss black centers.
I'm reluctant to paint my calipers since the original black finish is still really nice...but red behind black sure looks nice.
Opinions?

Here's what Matte/Gunmetal would look like:

Here's what Gloss would look like:

Or should I stick with the original Silver...and leave my wheels and nice black calipers well enough alone:

These are two-piece wheels, and I assume that the centers can be separated from the rims, but the whole process of tire de-mounting, wheel disassembly; then painting, reassembling & remounting may be pretty costly.
Has anyone here done this?
