I really like the ones in the middle picture. Unfortunately, the next big expenditure is the transmission rebuild.

Do you mean this middle picture? I've got some I'll give you a deal on.

Anyone know what wheels these are?

They're up on ebay as being taken off a 928.. 18" phone-dial-looking

They're not strosek - the strosek 18" like Adam B's got have a much flatter face on them.

I'm guessing they're off an ex-Japan parts car.. I'll drop the seller a note asking for any other numbers on them to see what the offsets are.

Interesting looking though. On an early model (78-82) would look nice cleaned up!

Bah, they are indeed off a Japanese parts car.

No stamping or numbers on the rims anywhere, although they did have spacers on all 4 corners, which means they may be high enough offset to work at the front.

Sadly, not worth the gamble to me to get them picked up by courier from South Australia. If they were local I'd go look and maybe buy them.

Question seeking advice - moving to 17's

Seeking advice:
I currently (still) have the d90's with 16's and the complete lack of selection on 16's I'm considering moving to 17's. My budget is tight, so I can't afford the CIII's that I would prefer. I'd rather only move to 17's, not 18's or 19's.

I'm considering the TireRack solution of the "Sport Edition Cup 4" :
Wheels:
17x7.5 in front , 17x9 in rear.
Tires:
225/45 in front, 255/40 in rear.

Anyone have this combo? Advice with this set-up?
