I hate tint as a general rule. However, on this car I'm making an exception. Yes, I've heard that before from several people, lol. Just don't have time ATM. Still need to install a new stereo, alarm and then tint.

Good for you - with those black wheels it'd look even more sinister. Ask me how I know? Well as you can see I like window tint too!

Wade..your car looks great - particularly in that last pic. It really shows how thoroughly those wheels fill the wheel wells, and provide a much more aggressive stance to a 928.

I have to agree with the other guys Wade. The car looks great, but you need to take it all the way. This little 32v gem I picked up in the fall is going to get the full on BLACKED OUT make over when I get around to it. She just sits collecting dust at the moment. Maybe a summer project this year.

Jim those look great on there!

Are they a high polish, high polish with clearcoat or chrome? If high polish are they a PITA to clean?

Afshin, they are a high polish and so far not difficult to keep clean or polished.

Bret928,

The more I look at your wheels, the more I like them. Have you posted specifics on these somewhere? i.e., where you got them, what they came off of, do they require spacers? approx. costs, etc.

Thanks Harvey,

The wheels are called "Carrera lightweights" at Sizes 18x8 et50mm, 18x10 et47/65mm and I got'em from an outfit called Wheel Dynamics.net up in the LA area.

Cost me about $1800 for the wheels & rubber plus tax & shipping.

Only thing is I had to add some rear spacers (+21mm) to fill out the wheel wells as their application cart is a little off.

Still I'm happy.

Bret
