Heinrich,

I'm German language pronunciation disadvantaged and do not know any German (other than my "snitzle" aches) so the word Fuchs always throws me. Would it be proper to say that one's car "has been Fuched" with these wheels?

Just food for thought:
[EDIT - changed the centercap from silver to black]
JPTL,

It's by design, I presume, that the wheel cap crest tips point towards the wheel air intake nipples in these fotos? Really classy look these are. They don't get much better than this.

I was speaking to a BBS rep the other day. Apparently they have a new casting process that will use removable inserts vs sand cores to create a new line of hollow wheels with far better control than the hollow spoke technology wheels. The first production runs will be for OE wheels like on the new VW GTI. I believe he said they will be coming out with some after market versions in a year or so. Sounds quite interesting and should make for some nice strong light weight wheels.

I was also very impressed by how they control their process and also how their cast wheels are cast short and rolled into their final shape. This allows them to control grain size and direction, something other brands do not do.

Controlling grain size and direction is critical for metal strength, would be scary to think if a wheel manufacturer doesn't have some controls of this. Could result in catastrophic failure when hitting a bump at high speed

Very Nice Chris!

What size are those? Can you send me a PM with the offset info, size and where to buy them? Also can you take a shot from further away?

I agree, He insisted BBS is the only manufacturer that does this and had some negative things to say about my Fikse's and their rotary forging method. Since BBS is the largest manufacturer of OE wheels in the world they have spent hundreds of millions of Porsche, BMW, MB, VW, etc's money on R&D to come up with these processes.

90% of the after market wheels made today come from China. If they are just pouring aluminum into a mold grain direction is not controlled.

That's what makes me nervous about manufacturers that are putting out replicas at a low cost. Our company sells equipment throughout the world and we have worked with China on a few projects. None of the projects to date include any type of analytical equipment to back up their claims. I won't go into details but I've found it to be true time and time again. Some times the low cost isn't just attributed to low cost of labor or less restrictive emissions.

Default Opinions wanted.

Pulled these off my C2 I purchased a while back. Fikse Pro V nice wheel although I am not impressed with the quality and although light I am sure they will bend easily. I was thinking of using them on the GTS but not sure if I like them. I drove around town with them and they made the ride harsh compared to the 17's

I would need to disable the RDK and use 1/8 inch smaller spacers in the rear to make them work. I also need to modify the front center cap to fit around the grease cap.

Opinions on how they look please.
