Which wheels are those? I really like them. Not quite as much as the 5 spoke CIII wheel, but damn nice!

Uhhhh, yea SURE they are! While I seriously doubt that is the case, it is not far off... My race car is sitting on Goodyear racing slicks that have had the hottest three laps taken off of them and were then sold to me for $60-$75 each! Freaking steal! 16" X 12"! AWESOME BABY! What size are those Hoosiers? They fit REALLY nicely under the stock fenders!

The 18X10 65 mm offset wheels are the $51.00 specials. The 275X35X18 Hoosiers were 6 for $125.00. Thye had been used on a Mustang.

Heh, I remember that thread

Here's my car.. wearing 17" RH Sekta's.

Annoyingly, the fronts are 17x8 ET50, and the rears are 17x9.5 ET60

I think someone else here runs my rears on all four corners?

Edit: Aha.. I was right, someone does.. https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...&postcount=565

I love these rims. Randy if I was going to look for a set of these say on ebay what should I search for? Are the offsets always the same on this style of wheel?

Larry

I loved them since i first saw them. I consider them an update to your wheels which i always loved.

I was going to buy a set like you had for the failed boxster project but i didnt like that those wheels only cme as wide asa 7.5" for the front, these are 8.5" and i have 245's on front but they rub, so i actually have to LOWER the car slightly to eliminate the rub i get when turning the wheel hard to the left. (it rubs on the lower rear of the fender cut out when making a sharp left turn)

I had bought the wheels for the boxster and realized i will have this 928 for a bit so why not just put them on. I used andrews calculator and sure enough they fit well enough so i had the tires mounted and here we are!

The ones i have are NOT BBS. The factory versions of these wheels (which i think are BBS) run upwards of $3000 for wheels alone. They are the most expensive wheel to buy from Porsche. I paid.......quite a bit less then that for these ones. The tires, which i got a screaming deal on are pirelli p zero rosso's and they cost 1.5x the cost of the wheels.

all in all the wheels i took off (chrome turbo twists) cost about the same as i have into these ones. And the "GT silver" center section looks SO GOOD on the black car!

I'm playing w these right now. 996TT Hollow spoke. After seeing Darien's and Tony's wanted to give them a try. They are on loan right now from the local Porsche dealership, still trying to play w spacers in the back. Will be getting more advice from Jim, Roger, and Sean next weekend at our get together.
They look better in person than they do in pics. (Took last night on test fitting)

Wasn't sure about twists until I got them on the car and they look pretty damn good. (To me) If I can work out the spacing (rear et) I'll keep them until I can blow some $ on either Fikse or Kinesis rims after all the "Need TO's" are done.
More to come on this one.
Attached are a few (not so high quality) pics.

They look like ****, you need wagon wheels on your car.

Since I just talked to you on the phone, I can say that.

Here are my wagon wheels.
