some 20-ish mm spacers make them fill the rear fenders.

> Thanks Shawn. Am I right in saying the current offsets are 65? This change then as the width and/or height of the tyre changes?

The original wheels on S4's were 16x7 et65 using 225/50 front, and 16x8 et53 using 245/45 rear.

A wide variety of wheel diameters, widths and offsets can be created to fit within the wheel wells and provide roughly similar alignment (particularly important to keep offset high in front to avoid making steering "twitch" or "hunting").

I just browsed through this thread again... lots of interesting wheel designs and variations here that can really change the character of the 928 anywhere from mild to wild.

I find that I'm personally drawn to wheels that have thicker spokes with at least somewhat rounded styles. Some wheels on the other end of the spectrum, with few thin and rather straigth spokes seem a bit "fragile" for the beefy looking bodies of our cars.

But as usual, it's a matter of personal preference. And no matter what wheels - it's still a shark. In the end that's all that matters...

Sterling,

Let me see a picture of your car with these wheels and tires on there. What were your sizes and offsets and tire sizes again?

I've been through this thread multiple times, and there are many fantastic wheels. Still my favorite are the Fikse FM10s

TJS......One bit of advice I will submit is that 18" wheels are optimum; primarily because the cost of tires sky rockets when you go from 18" to 19". That is one of the main reasons that I have not gone to 19" wheels. Good luck on your search.

Picture of my Gemballa rims, I don't have tires yet. Still looking into the 315/30/18's I need.

Since Sterling posted his new wheels, here are his old wheels currently on my car. I think the colors are similar enough.

Sterling it looks like your car rides a little higher than mine, which may be why I'm getting a slight rubbing in front. But it's only the driver's side, and only when turning and hitting a bump. Mine is actually riding even a little lower than the picture since the suspension took a while to settle.
