Just skimming through the pictures in this thread has taken nearly an hour! Some very nice wheels on some very nice cars.

PS2's in my case) Although pricey, the PS2's are excellent tires with a really good ride for the performance that they offer. They also have cutting edge tread designs, that isn't too contemporary looking for our cars. I have no regrets with my tire choice.
Also proportionate front to back tire width matters to some, and these are very close in that regard as well.
I came up with an alternative 10mm wider front & rear tire combo, but the tire profile (aspect ratio) had to be reduced by 5% for both in order to maintain proper tire/wheel height. Also there were less choices, and cost for lower profile was considerably more.
The PS2 also comes in a 295/30/18 that will also work with the 235 front. The 295 has the same rolling Dia as the stock 255 used on the GTS of 25.0". I am using that on my turbo and have tried those tires and wheels on the GTS with nice results. The 265/35/18 will also do the same. Rolling dia. of the 265 is 25.3" and the 275 is 25.6". All these should work fine with only minor spedo deviation.

The PS2 is a superb tire for these cars. Worth every extra penny.

ok, there on!!! My(can't believe I can say that) one of a kind, Kinesis K28R smoked chrome's!
No the front has not settled yet, that'll happen soon enough. I still need the smallest of width spacer for the front due to the dust caps pushing the wheel caps out slightly; getting wheel locks & I need to paint my lug nuts too. Might raise my ride height some more too while I'm at it.

The biggest of thanks to CeeDee for driving 3 hours one way yesterday to come up & help me get my intakes & such back on AND for flaring my rear fenders! He didn't leave until we finished at 11pm & he still had another 3 hour drive home! His shark looks awesome too with my former 17" Sport Edition C-2 Turbo, Cup wheels!

Sebring here I come!

I knew you would get it done in time for Sebring and well worth the effort. She's beautiful.

Nothing like stuffing 10 pounds of fun into an 8 pound bag!

Mel-
Those look AWESOME! Do not drive with those front caps on... YOU WILL LOSE THEM! Either grind them down to fit or get the spacer (I prefer the grind metod). Now, paint those rotor hats and fins! You don't want to show off that rust!

yeah, planning on painting the rotors. also 928 Spec advised just to flattin the front dust caps & then the wheel centers will fit & that makes perfect sense so I'll do that instead of spacers up front. Thanks for your advise on the flaring too Andrew.

Thanks Keith!
Honestly, I never asked DR what the offsets are. Whatever is standard for the K28R rims I guess. Pretty certain that the front rims are 9.5" & the rears are 11". The tires are 255/35 in front & 295/30 in the rear. I meant to get the exacts on the offsets & rim width, maybe at SITM I'll ask him the specifics.

Mel- Sorry, but I don't think there is anything standard there! It's 100% custom. Just don't fall into a pothole! or you'll be

Andrew I was just trusting DR's expertise in his knowledge of 928's & whatever he decided was the best offset for his shark would be the best for mine. I'm certain he told me the widths were 9.5" & 11". Heck, I guess I was so excited about getting them, I summed it up in my feeble mind of "if they fit DR's GT, & he says they'll fit my '85S, then thats good enough for me". At some point I'll ask him the specific offset info & write it down for future reference.

And I'm already concerned about driving it & hitting a pothole. Actually, concerned about driving it to Sebring & driving it on the track during the VIP driving time Sat. & Sun. Of course, I'm also holding out hope that since Kinesis wheels are marketed as extra strong aircraft aluminum & are so popular on race cars that might help me some in case of any unexpected bumps or holes. Least I hope so!

I also keep telling myself that my son's Roush Mustang has 265/35 & 295/30's on the custom Roush 18" rims & he's made it 3 years without any serious problems. So that gives me some encouragement that if I'm careful, I should be ok.
