More than likely there will not be any 60+ et. in the front, we are looking more like 8" (et. 50)
Any word on when these wheels with the 928 friendly offsets will be available?
Sorry, but IMHO, an ET-50 is NOT a friendly front offset for a 928.
I had a set of 7x17-ET50 on my 87, and I would definitely not do it again.
Just my personal experience...

I have ET50 fronts on my car with absolutely no issues, they look good and handle just fine.

I am not referring to the looks. Yours do look good. Mine looked good too.
I am referring to the inherent handling compromises that come with ET50 front wheels.
The reason a 928 feels so stable at speed is the negative scrub radius built into the steering geometry.
It has to do with where the centerline of the tire sits and the leverage it is able to impart on the steering.
The original ET65 fronts gave a healthy negative scrub radius (thus, no adverse leverage).
As you decrease the offset, you reduce the NSR (an ET55 wheel gives us a neutral scrub radius).
Thus anything less than ET55 gives a positive scrub radius. This leads to tram-lining.
Mine were twitchy, and bump steered, and tended to track imperfections in the road.
I had my ET50’s on for a few years, including a couple different sets/brands of tires.
And unfortunately, I think I simply got accustomed to how those ET50's handled.
It wasn’t until I switched to ET60 that the difference became immediately apparent.
You may think your 928 handles just fine, but I would contend that it is far from ideal.
Again, just my personal experience, but I will never go back to anything less than ET55 on mine.
And IMHO we should not encourage wheel makers to make ET50’s for us...

Looking through all these pics and I have wheel envy. I do like the look of the stock teledials I have now but the stock rear wheels look like they set in a little far by todays standards. I thought about some wheel spacers but maybe I will play with that idea in the spring.

What's with the funky front and rear corner marker lights, Stan?

Grey market import. On my old 80 euro, feds made you disconnect the switch to raise & lower the headlights for a longer through, install steel beams in the doors and put silly corner lights on. Feds let some cars through without having to do the corner lights, but not many. T

they came with the car Randy they are the nicest lights I have seen,
though the chrome could be blacked out.
The lamps have 2 LED bulbs in them and are also the smallest I have seen on a 928.
since there are 3 small holes for each lamp they are staying for now.

This is my 85 Euro 5 speed ,it runs really nice,
the paint appears to be original and has lots of chips so its perfect for a DD ,
also it has GTS big brakes and Bilstien shocks and sport seats.
The ADV sticker is covering the scrape from the shipping dork,
who put a small round wear mark into the virgin rear PU cover

Those wheels unfortunately wont fit on an unmodified 928, they fit that particular car due to the widened fender wells.

As for your 2nd pic...that's GTS rear wider hips.

The second pic looks like they did not blend the quarter panel extensions into the original panel. Looks very odd to me.
