Afshin,

No rolling required.

The fronts are almost an exact match of the size of the wheel on the '89 928 GT (factory 8 inch wide ET 60 - 16 inch vs this one which is 8 inch wide ET 57 - 18 inch). I have 235's on the front vs factory size 225. Nice fit.

The rears are 10 inch with ET 58 with 265 rubber. Lots of space on the inside and outside. I should be able to go to a 295 when the 265's wear out. Now the GT has a slightly rolled rear fender from the factory, but there is no doubt that with 265's they would fit on an S4 body. I would have to believe that even 285 or 295 would fit on an S4 body, but I can't be sure.

...and a set im looking at today.
bought'm/ with tires. OEM solid spoke. I wanted hollow spokes but i decided the extra price and trying to find them wasnt worth it.
Plus at my "experience level" and the weight of my current wheels i really would notice the difference..

18x8 fronts w/225/40-18 Continental SC2
18x11 rears w/295/30-18 Conti SC2

the set im looking at arent, but the Rivas are on the heavy side the way it is anway, so its a wash. Plus, 422rwtq can get most anything turning. . As much as i would like to have hollow spokes, i think these will be fine. 18X11 and 295 rubber....simple to keep clean as well

I do like the turbo-hollow spoke look on the 928....might be a hard fit with an 11" 45mm wheel in the rear....might have to roll the fenders a touch, but then you could run 305+ tires on the rear!! That would be SWEET!! You can get aftermarket copies in an 18X8 50mm and 18x10 65mm that should fit no problem...really cheap too $739 a set on ebay!

I assume these are the ones your talking about?
If i wanted the solid spoke 10s id just get them from 928intl..they have them also.

If i can get 11's in the back id rather do that...I WILL be rolling a fender, thats for sure. Plus the ones im looking at are with tires 295s...less hassle at this point

Tony - Those also come in aftermarket 65mm 10s. Heavier - over 30 pounds, but they may fit up front (I haven't had a chance to try the hollow spokes I have in 10/65mm)

Those are the non-oem wheels. Much heavier (30 pounds for the rear 10"), and those also come in hollow spokes *8 and 11*, and for just over 1k.

The thing is though - can you feel a heavier wheel?

with 448rwhp and 442 rwt..in a straight line and at my level of "track" experience. No way in heck i could perceive a difference im sure?.

my 18" rear RIVA with the Kuhmo 265s and center cap on it weighed 57 lbs...with the TOYA RA1 from Mark it weighed 54 lbs.

I will say that when i went from the stock 16 inch slots to the 18" Riva when the car was NA, i could feel the difference in accerlation.

Well in that case I say that the OEM 11s for the rear 45mm (some rolling) and the 10" fronts with 265 (some rolling on the front) would be very nice.

It should be like a slot car.

wider/lower profile shoes do feel like a slot car in the canyons, etc. except in the rain- the wider meat hydroplanes a LOT easier, so I don't even bother pulling my old gal out if there are any clouds on the horizon anymore.
