The worse case scenario is that the unit is finally showing some wear after several years of heavy track use. Do any of you know where these can be rebuilt or what is involved?

It's a Rotrex. It has a 12 to 1 internal traction drive it is quiet, smooth, and powerfull. Look it up, her is a link http://www.rotrex.com/Home.aspx I am thinking about selling the chargers, mounting bracket, and fuel rails to 928 people if there becomes an intrest.

I am looking forward to showing her off at the 928's in Hell this year!!!

One of the other 928ers here in Michigan was looking at the Rotrex, but he was looking to mount it down by the airpump, but couldn't because the Rotrex spins opposite of what he needed. Good job in figuring it out. How much boost are you running?

If you ever need to SharkTune your car, give me a yell as I have all the stuff.

Where in MI are you again?

Grand rapids. Well hell yeah, I would love to shark tune her!! That would be nice, thank you for offering I would love to get rid of the AFPR and just dial in the injection. Do you think we can keep the stock injectors or would we need to bump up to 30's. Right now I am running only 6 lbs but can easily make much more. It's not interecooled right now, and I dont know if I even want to. She makes great power, but with the weather I haven't been able to go strap her down for a test yet.

Hey if that other 928er thats here in Michigan is still interested in a Rotrex setup, I would gladly help him out with a mount and fuel rails. Is his an S4, and or what year is it?

Always wondered why no one had used rotrex for the 928 yet, they are great units. Cant wait to see it in Hell.

His is an 85/86. But I'm sure he's be interested in seeing your bracket (as would I).

As for tuning... 6psi, 30# injectors is needed for sure. If you think you might intercool and bump up the boost, then I think you should consider 42#.

Get back to work! There are other products you need to finish and get out.

Well I want to keep things simple and inexpensive right now. One step at a time as they say. But if I could shark tune 30#ers in, well that would make things very sweet and simple Then maybe intercool it later and see how much boost we can go up to with the 30# injectors. I have a few smaller pulleys and it only take minutes to change them.

I would almost bet the 85/68 could use the same brackett, or something very close.

Hey should I be having this discussion on another thread now, and not the Twin Screw thread...lol

The Rotrex setup looks good, but where's the air filter?

I didn't have it on there in that picture, that one was taken a month or more ago. I used the Kuhn Performance style intake snout. He uses it for his twin turbo setup, but I'm srue you already know what I am talking about . So it's sucking cool air from in front of the radiator and condensor.
