I should get the car back tomorrow. I plan on going through some of the obvious stuff like relays, spark, check timing, compression, etc...If I don't get anywhere, I'll try to put together a Saturday or Sunday that maybe some of you could trip out to Glen Rose and give me a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion on the no start issue.
After taking the car to 2 "mechanics", I feel better just doing it myself now. I'm motivated now to get it running one way or the other.

I'll keep you posted!! Thanks!!

What-d ya says chaps, a run down to Glen Rose on Sat early a.m.? We could hash it up for a few hours, then back to my pool for a dunk, some BBQ on the grill, and oh - maybe a tall cold one? I'll do the grilling and the pool toys, y-all bring some barley-pop.

One for all, all for one!

Jim, Roger and I are all "electronically disadvantaged" and agree that your presence is mandatory. I'm game if you're gonna be there. John, wanna ride with me?

Saturday is fine with me. If I get the car running before that, I'll be sure and let you know!
I just got my original LH brain back today, so hopefully when I get the car back, I won't be missing parts, plus I need to remember to get my original fuel pump back. I'll post some directions tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

BTW...My name is Jon. I met some of you down in Blanco a couple o years back.

Talking

What time is everyone headed down to Glen Rose? I'll go along and spectate. Electrical is way outside my knowledge, but I'll help if I can.

I also need to kiss up to Doc and Roger for an upcoming Motor Mount swap I have to do

Name a date.

Do you need help in picking the car up? It could be cheaper to borrow a trailer or even rent one for the day from U Haul.
I could rent one and pick your car up and deliver it to you.
Doc may have a trailer - he has everything else.
I'm just gonna have it towed backed to glen rose today and get it over with. A lot less hassle!
To those who plan on coming out on saturday, any time sat am is good for me. To get to my house, from Ft.Worth, go to Granbury (820 west to Benbrook), take 377 to Granbury, go straight thru Granbury, go across the lake bridge, and exit left on 51 to Geln Rose. Go into Glen Rose on 67 and take the 1st left turn(Barnard St.,at the exxon station). Follow this to the town square and turn left. Now you're on hwy 56. Go approx. 1.5 miles to a left turn on FM56 (to eulogy). Go another couple of miles and take the 1st left turn on CR413. Go another couple of miles to CR427. Look to the right at this intersection. I'm the rock house with the green metal roof with a detached garage in front.
If anyone has problems, my cell is 817-929-2039.
Thanks and If I don't hear from you until then..see you saturday!

Okay, bumpity, bump. Finallizing some things here for the big day. I'll be headed to Glen Rose about 8-ish, I should get there before 9. If someone could bring the following it'll help;

Relay tool(hot dog tongs); LH brain, 87-89; EZK brain from a 87-89; Printed WSM?

I will bring;

Meters, Oscilloscope, compr gauge, CD of WSM, laptop, air tools.

Prereqs for the host;

Car - under a shade! Small air compressor would be nice, Small batt charger, package of blade type fuses 5A-25A, Set of new plugs, couple 2 quart pans, 3 gal distilled water, 1 gal anti-freeze for Aluminum engines, flashlight, or Flourescent trouble light. One, 12Oz warm can of Bud light-hahahahahhahahhaha!

See everyone Sat a.m. When finished plan on heading back to my place for a bit. Wear painting clothes - hahhahahaha
