Mel you are right it is definitely fixable. I just have to find the right part or parts to fix. Giving up is not in the equation.

I want to congratulate David and Jeannie Roberts of 928 Specialists on their successful 8th annual 928 event, now known as Sharks In The Mountains (SITM).

I hope all the participants enjoy the event shirts. I thank David and Jeannie for allowing the 928 Owners Club to be an event sponsor.

I regret not being at the event in person, as I would have enjoyed meeting more of the 928 community, as well as meeting many of those I have not yet met. While I wasn't there in person, I was in spirit, and I look forward to attending when I have a street legal 928 (and I do have a project in the works).

I was pleased to hear the 928 Owners Club was well represented by Marc White (VP), Gary Knox (Treasurer), Greg Nichols (Trustee), Jay Kempf (Trustee) and Teri Knebel (Advertising & Design Chairperson).

Wow, what a great time. I want to thank John Eifert for his great hospitality, if you ever make it out to Seattle, you have a place to stay and a 928 to drive my friend.

I also want to thank Dave and Jeannie Roberts for putting on one heck of a great event. I had an absolute blast at SITM. If anyone has not attended one of these events in the past, this is something you do not want to miss. And BRING YOUR CAR, those roads are some of the best I have ever driven. Thanks again JE and Samantha for allowing me drive your cars. I can't wait untill next year and I will try to get more people from the PAC NW 928 group to attend.

The pleasure was all mine John. It was great to see the non-removable grin on your face that one gets when flogging the BRP and surrounding roads of SITM. I appreciate the tanks of fuel and dinner/beers Sunday PM also.

If I have a spare 928, it's your's and Heinrichs or whoever in the PAC NW 928 group who needs it for SITM.

Best Regards,
JE

PS: forgot to thank the good Doctor, Scott Mohr, for the chiropractic adjustment needed after pulling something during our impromptu "Chinese Fire Drill" driver change mid rally to Saturday's dinner.

Note to self: it is not a good idea for a 6' tall man with ample beer belly to jump into a 928 pasenger seat at full stride.

This being my 2nd SITM, I have to say that it was great to drive the twisties with a good alignment/toe/ride height, Bilstein/Eibach instead of Boge/stock springs, fully cold a/c, all fresh fluids, and other small things worked out as well.
Next time I will stay Sunday and drive home Monday/Tuesday taking the BRP as much as possible.
Lots of fun!!!!

Good idea! The BRP is pretty busy on Sundays when the weather is nice.
