1. my '89 a/t made the trip and was happy to be there
2. Earnest W. next to his '88
3. the good side of Chris Lockhart's wing (with 928 attached)
4. Big Dave made the trip, everybody gave him a pat on the back for what he did.
5. Myself and co-pilot Amy. She spent several hours driving and loved the 928. She'll be there in '06.

We completely enjoyed everything! Best 1,300 miles I've driven since I can remember. My Shark drove better than it has in the 10 months I've owned her, made for the open highway indeed! It was like when I came home today after work, there she was in the drive where I left her at 12:30 last night, faithfully waiting for me to come home. Struck me as though she was asking me, CAN WE GO AGAIN??!!! Reminded me of Thor with that ball, just begging for someone to play with!!

I can't say enough of how impressed both Pamela & I were with all of you! Truly was like coming to a family reunion, even though we had not met anyone beforehand! D & J you are both incredible the way you open your home as you do. Thanks to everyone who tolerated all of my tech questions, even when they weren't too technical. And for all the help in changing my ac belt, seems simple to most of you I know. Especially to Wally & Tony for your direction & hands on help(Tony you can jump in & take over the wrenches anytime on my Shark!). Meeting Dave & Kathy Wilson was great since they having a matching gold 85S auto, super people too! Sorry that my spare ignition switch didnt cure his no start blues. Ironic, my 85 sometimes wont turn off & Dave's wont start!

I already had a "wish list" before SITM, but seeing all of the cars, the new X pipe & sway bars, the list definately got bigger this weekend! And those new Black Chrome wheels on T I N S!! You have to love those! Half way home last night, Pamela out of the blue said, " why dont you sell the wheels you just bought, & the ones in the garage, & buy those Black Chrome ones?" At first I wanted to pull over & kiss her for even suggesting it, but then I had to tell her, I'd probably get enough $$ from both sets of wheels & tires I have now for just two of those wheels & no tires! Her response was, "well, you'd better start saving then!" THANKS SITM!!!!!

The drive to dinner was a blast! Even getting lost & split up & turned around! For a couple of Flatlanders from Florida like us, those winding roads up & down were sobering & a blast! Diner was great too, & the time back at the Roberts abode till 1:00 am! Like a social tech session! We met many new friends, & also want to get active in the Fla OC, worth driving down state to be with fellow Shark owners! We were able to caravan back to Fla with George & Claudia, that made the trip home very nice too, our own two Shark caravan! We got looks thru three states from the back roads to the interstate! We gotta get George a radar detector! He was the lead car without one & says he rarely even looks at his speedometer! When we stopped for gas, he asks me, did we get above 85 much? I replied, I had to hit 95-100 several times just to keep up with him!

We probably wont be able to make the Frenzy at the end of Oct, but can't wait till 06 SITM! THANKS again to all of you who made us feel such a part of a fantastic event!

When i wasnt drinking, i did manage some pics of the cars. I took lots of frames to creat panoramas with. This was the best one. Picture posting rules has limited this to a rather smallish size.

Hi Tony,

What part of Severna Park do you live? I'da remembered a new 928 in the area. How long have you had your car? There are quite a few of us in the area.
