    Sorry for late reply...the leak I encounted was a puddle of fuel under the car. The fiberglass tank cracked.

    Dear John,

    regarding your reply "My '79 had a chronic cold start problem since i got it. I thought maybe a bad WUR. No lie, It magically went away when i replaced the leaking fuel tank."
    I have a similar cold start problem , but only when you coldstart the car when temp is above 15°C.
    Car starts for 1 sec and dies. Then I am trying to keep starting for about 5 seconds and it finally starts.
    I have no warm start issues, all my pressures (cold + warm ) are within range.
    BUT : I can smell fuel at the back of my tank . Probably at the overflow hose or return line.

    So my question : what leak did you encounter at your tank ?
