I know you were yanking my chain Dave. . . . just like always. And hopefully you can make the 26th.

Yeah Geoff, you can be official light holder, and I'll make the "special" sauerkraut"!

Mine does that as well, although I have not done the swap lead thing yet.

The default condition causes the other fan to run at full speed for about a minute then it stops for about 20-30 seconds, then cycles again. I have had that problem since I bought her. I used Wally's document (https://www.928gt.com/t-wallyhvac.aspx) to evaluate the HVAC system using a multimeter. All of my readings came back fine, so I suspect that at least in my case, my passenger-side fan is down for the count. I have an extra set (S4 fans) that I am going to install.

My car currently hovers between the third white line and the red line on the temp gauge.

I would like to come over and see what is involved in the fan troubleshooting session.

Rob

We can also use my car to verify stuff by swapping known good controllers or whatever. I can bring some sausages over if you want to go with the awesome sauerkraut.

Cheers,

Hey I already said I'd be there. Mine is fully operational now.

Now i'll probably get stranded in the rain on the way home for taunting the Porsche gods.

Cheers,

March 26th? That's a long time from now. If you want to look at this sooner, I can swing by although we may not have as big a party. If so, we can still plan something like a winery tour and drive on the 26th. That would be nice!

The 5th might be a possibility. Let me see what Rich's schedule is like.

5th would work for us. Would this be a good date?

I think the 5th would work for me, although I might have to come up on one of my hondas ('98 civic, '04 600RR) if I decide to embark on intake removal, powder coating, vacuum tubing replacement, etc.. M
PS Bill, I sent you a pm with a couple questions.
