Default Invitation - Timing Belt Party

I'd like to host a timing belt party to change the belt in the '87 and re-tension the belt on the '85. Everyone is welcome, and I am flexible as to date. Saturdays are best.

I was thinking of grilling tri-tip and sausages, have beer and soda, potato salad, and whatever else anyone wants - just name it.

So, will anyone come to my party?

I'm interested... I'll bring a camera, an appetite, and the usual assortment of wisecracks... oh, and any tools that might be helpful.

I'd love to be there, but all my Saturdays are booked this month (trips to Tahoe and Montana). Have a great time, and don't make Bill do all the work

Beth:

It can be just about any weekend day for me. I take my son skiing 1 day each weekend, but the other is free. So, let's see which day is best for you and anyone else who wants to attend. The 12th works for me.

Beth,

I'll have to get back to you on this one.. I think I have plans for the 12th... On the 19th I'm sure I have plans to meet a bunch of NorCal P-Car owners at the Baja Cantina in Carmel Valley....

Nicole:

There will be plenty of work for everyone. This will be a full TB job, unlike the quick and (very) dirty job we did on Heinrich's purchase. So, we will be rebuilding the tensioner, which is a good job for a meticluous person like you, among other things. Or you could change out Beth's steering rack - you know how to do that!

Oh, bring that folder and the gloves I left behind from Heinrich's job. Thanks.

The 12th would work for me as well. If you want another set of hands and wisecracks.

Regards,

Does Beths' car need a steering rack also? Sounds like an entirely different project...
